It's finally a day off today, so I can unwind and enjoy some gaming at home. This outfit feels incredibly comfy to wear—the oversized grey jacket with orange accents gives off a tech-savvy vibe without feeling restrictive. Ahead of the shoot, I spent quite a bit of time styling this short blue wig, deliberately keeping a tousled, layered texture. Combined with the yellow N-shaped hairpin and green earrings, the details finally fell into place. I also tweaked the makeup to emphasize the eye colors, giving my gaze a sharper edge that, paired with the colored contacts, instantly locked me into character.

The white bedding and the soft tones of the sofa set a great cozy domestic mood in the shots. I especially love the pictures where I'm lying on the floor and lounging on the couch, completely engrossed while holding the handheld console prop. In fact, to capture that authentic gamer feel, I made a point of actually playing for a while before shooting so my grip on the controller would look natural rather than stiff. The photographer put a lot of thought into the lighting too, blending natural light from the window with warm indoor tones to give the photos the look of cinematic screencaps.

There are actually plenty of intricate details on this costume, such as the collar zipper, the X patterns on the sleeves, and the contrast between the orange neckerchief and belt, creating a punchy visual pop. To convey that effortless vibe, I made numerous adjustments to my poses to channel an unguarded, relaxed stay-at-home state. Throughout the shoot, I also focused on merging the character's intrinsic identity with everyday homeliness—even in a casual domestic setting, I wanted to maintain her signature cool demeanor rather than softening it too much.

The shot blowing bubble gum took several takes to capture the most natural moment. A cosplay shoot isn't just about putting on clothes and posing; it's about connecting with the character's core, so even playing games at home reflects that distinctive aura. I genuinely love this styling, especially how the mid-calf black stockings paired with chunky platform shoes not only flatter the leg line but also ground her presence on the floor. That small plushie beside me is another favorite prop I use; casually placing it on the floor or sofa immediately brought extra life to the composition.

Shooting at home has the huge perk of being completely carefree—no convention crowds and no onlookers, allowing me to fully immerse myself in my own rhythm. Lounging on the sofa or bed with a console, sprawling however I pleased. Sometimes, finding the ideal angle meant lying flat on the floor for ages or tossing and turning on the couch, which was a little tiring, but seeing the final photos made every bit worth it. This day-off home mode truly revitalizes the spirit. Given the chance, I'd love to explore more lifestyle scenes like this and reveal another side of the character.
