This set of Ellen Joe cosplay photos in a Classroom photo setting is finally fully shared. When shooting this set, the photographer @📷子骞Ain9 and I attempted to bring out the character's layered demeanor—appearing lazy and slightly cynical on the surface while exuding an uninhibited, confident swagger at her core. The classroom setting itself carries a wonderfully intriguing sense of contrast, which, paired with sports equipment and snacks scattered across the floor, felt perfectly in tune with the character's vibe.

In terms of attire, the button-down shirt paired with a black metal-buckle choker forms the visual anchor of this outfit; leaving the collar slightly unbuttoned preserves a casual, everyday feel. The lower half features a black pleated miniskirt with white trim and over-the-knee Anime black stockings, complemented by glossy black loafers that hit the exact note of her unconventional high school style. For hair, the black base with red highlights on the tips and inner layers, combined with uniquely shaped metal hair clips on the side, displayed excellent texture under indoor warm lighting, serving as a key element in establishing character recognition.

Beyond the styling and makeup, the prop design for this shoot heavily featured sports equipment. Wire baskets filled with basketballs and volleyballs—whether casually leaned against desk edges or straddled—align wonderfully with the character's lived-in slices of life within this specific environment. To prevent the frame from looking rigid, we scattered lived-in elements around the space, such as snack wrappers, small candies, and drink cups nearby, even incorporating her humorously iconic in-game habit of biting on a lollipop.

Discussing light and shadow, the photographer and I explicitly avoided stark, cold white lighting, opting instead for warm-toned photography lights paired with indoor wooden flooring and wooden furniture, which infused the photo set with a cinematic and narrative atmosphere. The posture of sitting inside the ball basket holding a coffee cup in the third photo was actually captured spontaneously mid-shoot; rather than a calculated pose, this casual moment of zoning out within her own little realm fitted the character's aura far better.

Preparing this work, capturing Ellen's blend of mysterious yet sly charisma was no easy task. It went beyond outward styling to the nuances of expression—such as the natural cool indifference in her eyes or her unbothered way of eating snacks. Through various camera angles, I believe we successfully expressed that unique schoolyard allure of being "rebellious yet irresistibly magnetic." Executing seemingly effortless yet physically demanding poses amid numerous props required substantial body control during the shoot, but thankfully the final photos turned out ideal.

Lastly, special thanks to the photographer for their professional and patient guidance. Within a relatively limited indoor space, combining numerous prop elements while establishing spatial depth and preserving strong atmospheric resonance was a triumph. I personally adore this photo set because it not only recreates the character's signature iconic elements but also incorporates creative scene-building touches of our own. I hope this casual, highly recognizable Shark Girl cosplay interpretation allows everyone to see a vivid, authentic side of the character.
