The shooting location for today's photo set was chosen at an outdoor swimming pool. The weather was fantastic, and the sunlight hitting the water surface created an exceptional reflection effect, perfectly fitting the theme of summer coolness. The character I cosplayed this time is Vivian from Zenless Zone Zero. To match the seaside vacation atmosphere, I specially selected this swimsuit styling.

In terms of makeup and styling, I put quite a bit of thought into it. To faithfully recreate the character's features, I wore the iconic light-blue long curly wig, and re-styled the curve of the hair ends with a flat iron to make it look more natural and lively. Wearing the elf-ear props required great care; the edges had to be fixed with dedicated special glue, followed by foundation and concealer to blend the edge colors, ensuring seamless integration even in side close-ups without appearing abrupt. For the eye makeup, I chose a reddish-pink eyeshadow blended extensively around the eyes, paired with blue circle lenses, hoping to present the character's unique gaze that carries a slight hint of innocence. Even my fingernails and toenails were intentionally painted dark blue to echo the overall color tone.

The clothing details are extremely rich. The blue-and-white color scheme, combined with various leather-textured straps and metal buckle designs, actually took some effort to put on and take off—it required assistance from my companion to tighten the straps in the back. Especially that heart-shaped cut-out strap design on the abdomen, which needed repeated adjustments to the proper position to perfectly showcase the waistline. The dark blue heart-shaped garter rings on the thighs and the white half-finger gloves are absolute finishing touches, increasing the layering of the overall styling. To match this mixed-style outfit, I chose a pair of black platform high-heeled sandals, which not only nicely elongated the leg proportions but also provided good stability when walking by the slippery poolside.

Regarding props, this time we prepared a transparent inflatable swim ring and a long-handled umbrella featuring wing patterns. That transparent swim ring looked particularly gorgeous under the sunlight; leveraging the sparkling water surface and the floor tile reflections, the captured texture was exceptionally translucent, filled with summer vibes. The few photos holding the umbrella mainly aimed to create a relaxing poolside leisure atmosphere. Because neither prop is small in size, when striking poses, I had to constantly mind adjusting angles, avoiding reflections and revealing corners, while keeping facial expressions relaxed and natural.

The shooting process was actually quite demanding on physical strength and core strength. Although the umbrella could slightly shield against the intense ultraviolet rays, continuously maintaining squatting and half-kneeling postures by the outdoor poolside made my leg muscles somewhat tense. However, in order to capture that best lighting period in the afternoon, everyone was extremely patient. I tried my best to relax before the lens, changing different poses according to the photographer's requests, such as squatting while hugging the swim ring, or standing sideways with one hand on the waist, hoping to showcase the exquisite design of this outfit from all-round and multi-angle perspectives. When the sunlight was glaring, slightly squinting my eyes actually added a bit of lazy charm.

Overall, I am still very satisfied with these finished photos. The aqua-blue background and the blue-and-white costume merged perfectly, and the light-and-shadow contrast reached the summer freshness I expected. It was a very interesting location shooting experience.
