When holding the white rose, I kept my fingers relaxed to avoid gripping the flower too tightly and ruining its natural form.
Capturing motion required quick reflexes from the photographer, as a wide hem caught on steps or dragging along the floor could make turn-around moments look clunky. After several attempts, we finally captured that effortless spinning feeling while holding up the skirt. Sitting down or turning sideways emphasized the upper body; the strapless and drop-sleeve design, combined with natural light and softboxes, beautifully showcased skin texture and collarbone lines. Accessories like the golden pin on the outer thigh and bow straps broke up the monotony of pure white stockings, adding extra refinement.
Portraying Elysia requires strong interaction with the scene, as her character is inextricably linked to "flowers" and "beauty." In this dreamy flower sea cosplay filled with pink and purple hues, I kept my body language open and fluid to avoid stiff, robotic standing poses. For instance, when lifting a bouquet, the wrist angle needed to feel natural; when seated on the carpet, the folds of the skirt were intentionally arranged in layers. Holding up the dress revealed details of the stockings and shoes, instantly drawing visual focus.
Amusingly, I held a takeout coffee cup as a temporary prop midway through. Some might think combining a bridal gown look with a coffee cup feels out of place, but it actually made me feel closer to a real-life state—like a dreamy girl enjoying a quiet moment of rest on a lazy afternoon. It added a charming touch of everyday life to this grand ensemble.
Because the studio setup relied mainly on white arches and floral pillars, the colors were very clean, meaning I didn't need to force intense expressions. A gentle gaze combined with natural posture was enough to make the photos feel full and vibrant. Looking through these photos again lets me relive that gentle, romantic atmosphere.
