Diving straight into the content, this Honkai Impact 3rd Elysia Doujin cosplay set was shot in front of a pure white building by the sea.

During the shoot, I found myself thinking how wonderful it would be if this were truly heaven—the blue and white color scheme here perfectly aligns with Elysia's own vibe. Regarding the concept for this "Poem of Flowing Light" outfit, we made many small adjustments to the costume's details. The outer layer is made of a lightweight, translucent tulle material that subtly reflects under the sunlight, while the interior uses a layered petticoat to support the puffy skirt. The purple rose decorations at the waist and chest, along with the cinching corset design, make the entire look appear more three-dimensional.

As for the wig, to capture Elysia's flowing and lightweight feel, we specially chose an ultra-long pink gradient wig and styled it with plenty of volume, so that the hair strands remain fluttering even in low-wind environments. The white feather hair accessory on the head, embellished with pearls, serves as the perfect finishing touch of the overall look.

The weather on the day of the shoot was fantastic with abundant lighting; the blue sky overhead and the white walls of the building formed an incredibly clean backdrop. Beneath my feet was light blue pool water; when stepping in, the water slightly covered the tops of my feet, feeling pleasantly cool. The water surface inherently creates reflections, and with just a bit of ambient light, it blends the skirt's sheen with the ripples, creating an ethereal aura surrounding the scene. The photographer @ChaoFangBianMian captured many moments of the wind's movement, letting the skirt and hair strands float, and the refraction from the glass windows also added a touch of translucency to the frame.

The entire set of photos didn't require overly complex post-processing; it was mostly about finding the optimal balance of light and angles during the pre-shoot phase. For character accuracy, Elysia gives off a lively yet gentle impression, and I did my best to showcase a posture that is both elegant and playful in front of the lens. The costume and props need to coordinate with the movements to present the best effect; for example, the ruffled sleeve cuffs on the wrists require the arms to stretch out to fully reveal their layering. The white veil on my head fluttering in the wind truly felt like being inside a fairy tale. This session can be described as a deeply healing experience. Bringing a 2D character into a 3D real-life setting through cosplay photography relies exactly on the perfect combination of these material details, light, and shadow. I hope this set of pictures can convey Elysia's purity and beauty, serving as a tribute to this character.
