[Elysia Cosplay] Flower Pilgrimage in Honkai Impact 3rd: A Dreamy Pink Moment

This Flower Pilgrimage ensemble was custom-made, centering on the tiered layers of the skirt along with crimson ribbon accents adorning the chest and wrists. The pink-and-white tulle fabric can easily lose its dimensional volume on camera, so maintaining the skirt's full flounce was essential during takes. For makeup, I paired the wig with matching tonal pink eyeshadow, dewy soft lipstick, and light-colored contact lenses. We built a dedicated studio set adorned with Roman columns, gold-trimmed frames, an abundance of pink blossoms, and cascading purple wisteria; the reflective mirrored floor bounced back dreamy reflections that, paired with cool violet and warm pink backlights, delivered a luminous, translucent ambiance.

We explored multiple poses during the session. The cover frame features a dynamic one-legged stance with the skirt billowing in mid-air. To elongate leg lines, I wore white high heels and carefully oriented the gold temporary tattoos and thigh rings toward their most flattering angles. The remaining shots include resting my chin on hand while seated, sitting cross-legged cradling the floral bouquet, and a half-body shot holding an envelope—each demanding fine-tuning under changing lighting angles so the gold trim along the dress caught the strobes with optimal luster. The pink bob wig required delicate styling, especially securing the bridal veil, which could easily drift and obscure my eyes if tilted even slightly.

The shooting process proved more intricate than anticipated. Freezing the ethereal flutter of the skirt hem was particularly tough, requiring the folds to be meticulously reset after every shutter burst. While the mirrored floor yielded stunning reflections, it was noticeably slick, making proper foot placement and core stability vital. This studio shoot was an enriching experience that allowed me to rediscover the intricate elegance and nuanced details of this pink-themed outfit before the lens.
