The booth lottery results for this Summer Comiket (C108) are out, and I successfully secured a spot! I can finally bring my newly made Seele photobook to the venue. A lot of adjustments were made to the details of this costume—the alignment of the white lining at the neckline spliced with the blue vest, as well as the pleated layers of the skirt hem, all strive to restore the settings in the game. When shooting by the seaside, the tide and wind direction are always uncontrollable factors. However, precisely because of this, the water ripples left on the beach after the waves recede, along with the diffused natural light of the cloudy day, added a cool-toned layer of serenity to the entire frame. During the shoot, I specially chose the low tide period when the water level just covered my ankles; this both maintained a stable standing posture and captured the dynamic splash of water when the waves surged. For the prop, I used that black satin ribbon; when lifted by the wind, its lines carry plenty of tension. Compared to looking straight at the lens, the moment of turning sideways and letting go gives the composition more breathing room. Regarding the layout of the photobook, I prefer a design with more negative space, placing only one or two images per page, paired with low-saturation color grading, hoping to convey Seele's gentle yet slightly fragile temperament. The booth number will be announced later on. The on-site stock is prepared quite thoroughly, and even if it sells out on the day, a mail-order channel will be added, so there is no need to worry about missing out. Additionally, I brought a few winter snow-scene easter egg images this time; although the theme differs from the seaside, they were likewise shot under outdoor natural light, serving as a little surprise.
