[Elysia Cosplay] Honkai Impact 3rd 10th Anniversary: Miss Pink Elf's Romantic Rendezvous

Happy Honkai Impact 3rd 10th Anniversary! I've finally finished retouching this set of Elysia photos. From the moment I decided on this look, preparations took over two weeks. I went through several wigs before settling on this pink one, trimming layered textures and curling the tips inward slightly, accessorized with gold and purple hair ornaments on both sides to recreate that sweet yet regal elegance. Makeup centered primarily on the eyes: pink contact lenses paired with soft pink eyeshadow and subtly elongated eyeliner were fine-tuned repeatedly before the mirror to ensure the gaze looked tender yet sharp.

The outfit boasts an immense amount of detail. The bodice splices purple and black with golden piping along the neckline and trims; the drape of the purple shoulder cape was crucial, requiring thorough ironing before the shoot. For the lower half, I styled black over-the-knee boots, where the transition between the black thigh straps and the Stockings demanded constant adjustment—any misalignment compromised the clean line of the legs. To flatter leg proportions, I tested several cross-legged seated angles to showcase both the sheer texture of the hosiery and the metal buckles of the boots simultaneously.

The set was constructed in an interior featuring classical Roman pillars and stained glass, with draped purple velvet across the floor, encircled by lush pink, purple, and white roses alongside hydrangeas. The white roses cradled in my arms were carefully chosen at full bloom, complemented by an antique white decorative birdcage to introduce subtle narrative depth. Overall lighting leaned into a warm pink-violet tone that echoed the outfit and hair, casting rich, delicate gradients across the white rose petals.

To convey varied emotional beats, beyond poised seated postures, I explored more relaxed, candid stances. The shoot was physically demanding; continually recalibrating positions to chase optimal light angles left me quite exhausted toward the end. During retouching, a playful impulse led me to add two chibi cartoon stickers: a chibi Pink-haired girl closing her eyes in sheer exhaustion, and a white-haired chibi boy seated on the steps looking thoroughly over it. These stickers captured our authentic behind-the-scenes state in the home stretch, injecting fun into an otherwise opulent shoot.

Beyond the rich drama of the purple and black palette, the visual core lies in the pure contrast between the white roses and flowing pink hair. When fine-tuning compositions, I preserved the sweeping lines of the tall boots and crossed legs, working with the purplish stockings to maintain kinetic elegance even in static frames. Managing the wig was equally challenging—pink synthetic fiber easily looks frizzy under studio strobes, requiring detangling spray and flat irons during breaks to keep every strand glossy and smooth.

Honkai Impact 3rd has already reached its 10th anniversary, and paying tribute by bringing my ideal vision of Elysia to life feels purely rewarding. From hair and wardrobe to set dressing, every detail was crafted to honor the lore, and I hope this shoot preserves that tender romance for fellow fans.
