This time, I am presenting Elysia's Abyss Flower version look from Honkai Impact 3rd. As a brand-new outfit debuted for the first time across the internet, the entire process from early preparation to the final photoshoot took a massive amount of my time and effort to calibrate every single detail.

In terms of makeup and hair, I selected a highly saturated and distinctly layered sakura-pink wig with relatively fine-trimmed edges, which not only gives a voluminous hair appearance but also adds more dynamic motion when the wind blows. To fit the character's vivid anime traits, I specifically paired it with bright blue colored contacts and elf ear props, adjusting the lip and eye makeup accordingly in an attempt to recreate that unique agility and pride of an otherworld girl before the lens.

Regarding the costume itself, this white, purple, and black color-blocked battle suit balances practicality and aesthetics quite well. The upper body uses a form-fitting design with a white base inlaid with golden patterns. The blue diamond-shaped gemstone and geometric collar decorations at the neckline serve as the visual center, cooperating with the dark brown base ruffled sleeves at the shoulders and the draped purple fabric to create rich visual layers. The lower wear features a high-slit design combined with leg straps, overall establishing an effect that blends a sense of fantasy with techwear style.

The most noteworthy aspect is definitely this oversized long-handled prop that is taller than a person. The flag-like lance tip design with a white base and blue patterns is highly unique, featuring complex geometric patterns. To recreate this weapon, the prop master repeatedly experimented with the material and lacquer finish multiple times; it holds a substantial weight in hand. Although my arms get sore after holding it up for long periods, swinging it creates immense styling tension, adding a lot of points to the aura of the entire photoset.

The shooting location was selected in a commercial district with a European town style, fitting perfectly with the exotic and mysterious colors carried by the character as one of The Thirteen Flame-Chasers. At first, I worried that the background architecture and passersby would make the frame look cluttered, but the photographer cleverly utilized the golden hour light at dusk, placing me in backlit and side-lit positions during this European style street snap session. The warm yellow afterglow before sunset sprinkled onto the pink hair, perfectly outlining the edges of my head silhouette, giving the frame a natural soft and sacred atmosphere.

For the movement design, I tried several different states. Aside from standard static poses, we shot quite a few walking movements, looking back while holding the weapon, and a single-hand extended spell-casting preparation stance. To showcase the character's confident and unhurried personality traits, I needed to pay attention to the uprightness of my neck, shoulders, and back at all times, creating a subtle push-and-pull dynamic between my eyes and the lens. This not only fits the attributes of the items themselves but also expresses that calm and unhurried sense of power.

Since this set of clothing marks its debut presentation before the public, during post-processing, we skipped overly exaggerated fine-tuning, choosing to preserve a certain sharpness of the original photos. We hope to not only exhibit the surface aesthetics of the costume but also retain the fabric wrinkles, the authentic reflection of light, and the spatial sense of the entire environment, letting everyone see a truer and more atmospheric ACG outdoor location visual presentation.
