Shooting the Love Wish Fairy look this time, from the trimming of the wig to the complicated flower accessories on the costume, took quite a lot of preparation time from beginning to end. The long pink hair paired with pointed elf ears, along with the red-and-white checkered dress, truly helps one quickly get into character in front of the lens. During the shoot, we specially found a scene with pink drapes and Roman columns. The light filters down through the sheer tulle, matching the rose decorations on the costume beautifully. The staff prop held in my hand was also customized, with ribbon details and paintwork kept as close to the original setting as possible.
This time, I tried several different angles, such as a top-down shot while lying down and an extension movement holding the staff, wanting to give the frame more narrative. Although wearing the costume indoors for a long time got a bit stuffy, seeing the effect of the petals and pearl chains blending with the overall look in the final photos made it completely worth it. Every time photos are released, it's a re-evaluation of my understanding of the character. I hope to record the agility of this Pink Fairy through the lens of Cosplay photography.
