[Fu Hua cosplay] Azure Bird and Jingwei in Honkai Impact 3rd: Teaser Photosheet is Here

This teaser set mainly combines elements of Ah Ji, Jingwei and Dark Jingwei plushie stacking, and Fu Hua's Azure Bird look. Setting up props and choosing scenes in the early stage underwent multiple adjustments, and the four photos presented now are the preliminary preview selection.

For the wig, a blue-gray gradient style embellished with subtle shimmer was selected. This length of wig visually creates a lightweight feel easily, which, paired with side pearl strands and that light blue fish-shaped headpiece, keeps the overall head color saturation unified. Ocean blue contact lenses were worn for the eyes, offering a translucent color that matches the surrounding cool-toned ambiance. The makeup focused on emphasizing eye contours, with the extended eyeliner angle matching the shadows cast by the bangs—a technique that keeps the gaze focused in front of the lens.

The costume section mainly features a combination of white and light blue. The semi-transparent striped fabric across the chest, adorned with a pearl necklace, offers rich depth under natural light or soft studio lighting. The lower skirt is tailored quite wide, providing great mobility while spreading out smoothly with a slight touch in swing or cage settings, blending seamlessly with the blue gradient color transitions.

The textures of prop plushies like Ah Ji, Jingwei, and Dark Jingwei were crafted exceptionally well. In particular, that plump, round big bird plushie with red eyes and a yellow beak has great volume, serving perfectly to enrich the composition as the selfie backdrop in photo 1. In photo 2, holding a smaller bird plushie allowed displaying a facial close-up while clearly revealing the layered arrangement of headwear and hairstyle.

The swing scene in Photo 3 was shot under warm light. Vines and artificial flowers on the hemp rope form a warm-cool contrast with the blue-and-white main palette, while thin sheer drapes wrapped around the ropes capture natural floating trajectories under wind or fanning, greatly enhancing the overall atmosphere. Photo 4 combines overhead and eye-level angles, utilizing the golden metal cage frame for framing composition. The open space on the left and broad floral decorations on the right place the subject firmly in the visual center. The white long-pile carpet has great texture, where light purple paneled long boots or knee pads on the legs nicely showcase lower body proportions in this composition, while the reclining pose perfectly displays design details across the waist and skirt hem.

During shooting, I valued the harmony between character state and scene setting. Subtle adjustments in gaze and body gestures across different scenes aimed to better reflect the character's innate calm yet gentle nature. During the shoot, the sheer drapes on the hemp ropes kept getting tangled with the wig, requiring the photographer to untangle them carefully each time—these small hiccups actually made the process much lighter and relaxed. This preview set shows only a portion of retouched photos; additional easter eggs and final photos with varying emotions will be released later.

Doing research before every shoot can be quite meticulous; trying this style featuring plushie stacking was a considerable breakthrough. Details for the official release are being refined further.
