What I'm releasing today are the last few vaulted main photos of the Maiden. When preparing the makeup and styling, time was genuinely tight, and I'm well aware of where some costume detail fidelity fell short, so please be understanding if anything isn't quite up to mark. However, despite these minor detail regrets, I personally am extremely pleased with the overall atmosphere and light-shadow presentation of this set, which is why I decided to share them as a memento of this portrayal.

On the shooting day, I communicated extensively with photographer @梨子 (Lizi), especially regarding set design. To align with this character's traits and my personal interpretation, we steered the environment overall toward cool tones and mystery. The lush floral set, blue-and-white soft light, plus the self-illuminating orb prop in hand happened to form a visual center of cold-warm contrast within the frame.

Holding the glowing sphere, the light cast upon my face and hands created an ethereal texture that required almost no post-processing. Particularly for that full shot seated on the daybed with ribbons wrapped around my legs, controlling posture and center of gravity took some time—balancing stretched limbs with expressing the light, airy fabric texture of the costume. The blue chiffon appeared exceptionally clear and translucent under cool lighting, complemented by the black wig with red highlights and glitter face gems, presenting viewers with a quiet, languid, yet distant atmosphere.

Speaking of imperfections in fidelity, they were mainly cuff details and the actual texture of the chest metal ornament. The original design should have featured more intricate patterns, but due to tight scheduling, compromises had to be made with prepared props. However, rather than obsessing over imperfect props, I preferred to express the subjective feeling this character inspired in me.

So during shooting, I deliberately slowed my movements down, letting myself fully immerse in the environment. Photographer @梨子 understood my desired style perfectly, avoiding overly complex lighting and relying primarily on that key light as the core light source. The high-angle overhead shots in the first few photos show an onlooker's perspective. As you can see, under high-angle framing, the overall silhouette and hair strand movement—especially the pair of white wing hair ornaments on both sides of the wig—stand out with crisp contours under the light.

Although this outfit was quite light and thin, we shot in a cool indoor studio set; to maintain an ethereal, airy feel, we didn't rely on fancy post-processing special effects, depending entirely on live lighting and prop placement. In hair styling, the wig's fluffiness was the top priority of the makeup-hair process; to preserve its natural layering, the stylist spent considerable effort securing it layer by layer. The red-black gradient tips paired with white wing-shaped decorations offset overly soft visuals, adding distinct character recognition.

Although the first two high-angle shots didn't fully show the skirt hem and leg design, they placed the half-body visual focus on my face and hair strands. Combined with that deep glowing sphere and slightly downturned eyes, it instantly conveyed a narrative-rich state of mind. Meanwhile, the third seated full-body image unfolded the costume design completely—silver-white ribbons bound around legs and light chiffon scattered across the bed, combined with blue-and-white ambient lighting coming from the side-rear, heightened the character's languid and mysterious demeanor to its peak.

For these final main photos, I set down my burdens and poured my heart into depicting this character. For makeup, focus landed on the glitter gems around the eyes and the chin contour, which, paired with red-and-black hair tips, connected seamlessly with the overall cool color palette. I believe Cosplay photography isn't merely replicating a character's outer shell; more importantly, it's about capturing her inner aura and visual mood. The overall baseline of this photoset achieved my expected state.

We shot various vibes back and forth, ultimately selecting these few images that best embody the heart and soul of this creation. The photographer maintained meticulous control throughout, and post-processing preserved the exact texture I desired. This set stands as one of my favorite recent works in Atmospheric photography, and I'm delighted to share it with everyone here.
