Coming to the beach this time to shoot the Herrscher of Human Swimsuit cosplay, the ocean breeze was indeed very strong, but I truly love how the finished photos turned out. The purple-and-white bikini paired with golden accessories on the chest visualizes great layering. To recreate the character's traits, I wore white Bunny ear hair accessories, and the long wavy Pink hair featured a white gradient at the ends, looking exceptionally translucent under natural light.

Before shooting this photo set, a lot of thought went into styling and makeup. Long Pink hair wigs easily get tangled by the sea breeze, so I specifically treated the roots with styling spray and secured the bangs with small bobby pins. For the eye makeup, I chose pink-purple eyeshadow paired with a clear, translucent base makeup, sweeping blush onto the apples of my cheeks to present that energetic and gentle vibe as much as possible.

In terms of costume, this swimsuit has quite a few details. The white ruffled arm covers and the ruffle trim on the chest really test the garment's cut; I had to be careful to maintain their shape when stepping into the water. The purple-and-white straps at the waist and the multi-layered pleated skirt hem outside become heavy after soaking in water for long, so I spent most of the time standing in shallow water, controlling the floating sensation of the skirt on the water's surface. Holding the blue-and-white swim ring in my right hand while gently touching my necklace with my left hand made the shot look much more natural.

The shooting time was chosen around 3:00 PM when the sunlight was relatively soft, preventing harsh shadows on the face. The photographer had me try more sideways angles to better showcase my waistline and body proportions. Because the reflection from the sea surface was strong, we constantly adjusted the position of the reflector during the shoot to ensure even fill light on the face.

Many friends ask how not to look stiff during a Seaside photoshoot in a Swimsuit cosplay; my experience is to relax the body as much as possible without forcing unnatural poses. For instance, when holding the swim ring, imagine enjoying the ocean breeze; your gaze doesn't always need to fixate on the camera—looking into the distance or looking down to adjust your hair are all great states. Since the outfit is quite breezy, safety in movement is important, while also keeping an eye out to prevent any wardrobe malfunctions.

Although it was very hot and the waves were quite big for this outdoor shoot, being able to present such a fresh, colorful photo set made the trip completely worthwhile.
