Today's state at the ChinaJoy 2026 site could truly be described as chaotic. My schedule was packed, and I was basically rushing on the way, without even a moment to stop and properly fix my makeup and hair. As I was passing outside the venue, I was suddenly stopped by two photographer friends holding cameras. They were extremely excited, saying that they thought this outfit looked gorgeous from afar. The three of us were so immersed in the styling that they didn't even recognize who I was at all, until my assistant gently reminded them, at which point they suddenly realized and kept apologizing to me. Actually, I found it really cute in my heart at the time, because at convention photos events, people often experience those temporary brain farts just from seeing an outfit they adore.

Because my schedule was indeed very tight, my assistant kept urging me from the side, but seeing them carrying heavy photography bags and the eager affection in their eyes, I just couldn't bear to refuse. I told them we could pause for a couple of minutes so they could take some photos. They were extremely polite, repeatedly saying they would just take a couple of shots and definitely wouldn't delay my time. Hearing that actually made me feel quite touched; for photographers, encountering a satisfying look is really not easy, so how could just two shots fully showcase all the details of this outfit? To avoid wasting these precious few minutes, we quickly found a relatively open area, hastily raised our cameras, and started clicking the shutter. Although the whole process was very rushed, our cooperation was unexpectedly tacit.

Seeing the convention photos sent by everyone just now, I was truly surprised. As a coser, every time I pull off such a heavy-duty styling, it requires a tremendous amount of energy. Take this green-and-gold colorway outfit for example: the brocade jacquard and gold embroidery on the outer layer are extremely dense, and the patterns on the cuffs and skirt hem are exceptionally intricate, carrying a certain weight when worn. To support the aura of this outfit, I wore several layers of inner lining underneath. The huge red beaded string around my neck and the green disc accessory in the middle are eye-catching, while the multi-layered bead chains and bells on my wrists emit a slight clashing sound when walking. The heaviest part is the towering tiara on my head, which not only features metal hollow-out branches, flowers, and butterflies, but also hangs long golden tassels on both sides. Therefore, while taking photos in the wind just now, I had to constantly pay attention to keeping my neck steady, fearing that the ornate headpiece would get crooked.

Great effort was also put into the makeup. To match the green and gold costume, the eye makeup deliberately used a large area of cyan-green blending, with glitter and red dot decorations embellished on the cheeks and eye corners, and a deeper plum lip color was chosen, hoping to present a cold, glamorous, yet fantastical feeling. Actually, under such rushed circumstances, I was still worried whether I could capture good expressions, but seeing the photos, I found that the natural light displayed the texture of the costume exceptionally well, and the moment when the wind gently blew the tassels was also perfectly frozen.

I am truly grateful to these photographers for being able to recognize this styling in the crowd and being willing to spend time and energy recording it. Although they modestly said that the photos taken only restored one percent of the beauty, in my opinion, such real, vivid, and unpolished snapshots at the convention site possess a unique charm in themselves. People gather together out of passion, respecting and achieving one another—this is precisely what makes convention photos most touching. I will definitely strive to refine myself in the future, and I also look forward to having the opportunity to create more leisurely with outstanding photographers in the future. No need to rush like today; we can slowly ponder the light and angles together, perfectly presenting the story sense of every single styling.
