Preparing the costume for this Aemeath Cosplay required considerable effort, particularly regarding the garment tailoring and accessory adjustments. The primary color palette consists of white, black, and gold. The cutout design on the chest demanded precise form-fitting tailoring, and the over-the-knee white boots and leg garters required repeated adjustments to ensure a snug fit and smooth leg lines. The Pink hair wig was styled and set multiple times, with the placement of the two hairpins meticulously aligned according to the proportions of the close-up character portrait.

As for props, the longsword appears light but is actually quite heavy to lift. During the first shot holding the sword in a seated pose, it required not only wrist strength but also finding a steady anchor point to stabilize the upper body. Before post-processing, the blue energy effects along the blade were paired with solid-color set backdrops and lighting to recreate that dynamic surge of energy.

The makeup this time leaned toward restoring the character's cool, composed detachment; the eye makeup was coordinated with golden-yellow contact lenses, and the eyebrow shape underwent multiple revisions. The shooting environment was set in a studio with a pink-to-purple gradient backdrop, using front-side lighting to emphasize the visual contrast of the white, black, and gold while preserving translucent skin tones. In addition to the seated pose, the second kneeling pose focused on showcasing the layered folds of the skirt hem. The entire photoshoot involved continuous fine-tuning of poses and expressions until the frame authentically captured the character's calm yet powerful presence in this 2D universe.

The garment construction itself has very distinct tailoring, requiring a strict wearing sequence—from the inner lining to the outer skirt, followed by the detachable sleeve cuffs on the arms, and finally securing the black-base neck ornament. Several attachment points on the back also had to be checked to ensure nothing detached during prolonged standing or posing. When arranging the luminous materials, to address reflection issues, auxiliary fill lights were added per the photographer's recommendation. Post-processing focused on adjusting background saturation so the character's Pink hair blended naturally with the background. Before shooting, we tested movement ranges—finding the balance point in hand for sword-lifting poses, while using seated poses to accentuate leg lines without disrupting the natural drape of garment folds. Every cosplay shoot is a process of deepening one's understanding of a character. This share mainly highlights these behind-the-scenes details, hoping to present a fuller, more complete facet of this Aemeath Cosplay from Wuthering Waves.
