Today, let's talk about the shooting concept and styling recreation details for this set of photos featuring the Arknights Amiya White Rabbit collaboration.

The outfit this time is predominantly a blue-and-white checkered dress, paired with a white apron-style bib and ruffled cuffs, with the blue-and-white stripes on the collar faithfully recreated. For the wig, I selected long chestnut twintails, trimming the bangs and side locks to soften my facial contours in front of the lens. Blue bow accessories were fixed at the base of the twintails on both sides. To capture the character's signature features, a pair of fluffy, upright rabbit ear props was worn on top; the internal wire structure allowed minor angle adjustments, making it easy to find the most natural silhouette during shooting. The makeup avoided heavy, saturated colors, focusing instead on a luminous, clear base and defined eye contours. The eyeliner was drawn with a slight downward slant to add an innocent charm, finished with a natural soft pink lip gloss for an overall everyday aesthetic.

The shoot took place indoors, where the walls featured horizontal wooden planks alternating between white and brown. On the left was a window draped with sheer white lace curtains. A blue-and-white checkered tablecloth was spread across the table. For props, we prepared a brown woven rattan basket with a handle, next to a white canvas bag printed with red lettering and blue stars. On the tray sat an éclair pastry topped with cream and garnish, alongside a stemmed goblet drink featuring a pink-to-purple gradient with whipped cream on top.

The lighting on the day of the shoot was fantastic. Natural light streamed in diagonally from the left window, creating strong chiaroscuro across the walls. To make the most of this light, I stood with my back to the window so the light came from the side and rear. This not only cast a gorgeous rim light across my hair and rabbit ears, but also maintained subtle shadows on my face to enhance three-dimensional depth. The camera was set at a slightly low angle, using the tray and food as foreground elements to add depth of field to the composition.

Capturing the action of holding the tray demanded attention to many subtle details. Both hands needed to steadily support the dark brown rectangular tray, fingers naturally curved without blocking the food. To project the character's focused immersion, my gaze naturally drifted down toward the treats, chin tucked slightly to preserve a quiet, serene temperament. Maintaining this pose for extended periods was surprisingly exhausting—arms and shoulders tended to stiffen, requiring regular breathing adjustments and brief relaxation pauses whenever the photographer adjusted the aperture.

Throughout the shoot, keeping the skirt hem neat was essential; the white apron and ruffled cuffs easily creased, requiring quick visual checks before every shutter click. We also experimented with diverse framing scales, ranging from half-body close-ups to atmospheric full-body shots. In post-processing, we retained the warm golden sunlight tones while lifting shadow details, making the entire frame look cleaner and more luminous. This shoot deepened my appreciation for light and shadow, and I hope everyone can feel the endearing sweetness of this Amiya cosplay look!
