When tailoring this black-and-gold modified vintage-style Qipao, we intentionally incorporated cutouts along the side waist and finished the mandarin collar and hemline with gilded piping. The wig was styled in silver-white with blunt straight bangs, though wearing it over hours of shooting was undeniably stifling. The focal point of the makeup centered on icy azure cosmetic lenses, paired with crimson lips and winged outer eye shading to evoke an untamed, predatory edge. Wearing white stockings presented its own set of trials: the studio floor was layered with plush white faux fur rugs, requiring extreme vigilance during movement and stance resets to avoid snagging the hosiery while preserving clean, elongated leg contours.

Our photographer dressed the set with traditional wooden lattice windows and carved folding screens, accented by plum blossom boughs and antique tea sets to cultivate a chivalric martial arts ambiance. For the sequence framed alongside the white tiger, sustaining an aura of fierce, unyielding sovereignty was vital rather than appearing overly delicate. I prioritized angles that accentuated bodily curves—such as elongating both legs while reclining sideways or crossing knees atop an ornate timber chair, letting the high slit of the Qipao and the over-the-knee white stockings trace a sweeping vertical line. The session was physically grueling, especially the prone frame with elevated legs where my lower back hovered without support under sustained tension, leaving me thoroughly sore afterward. Yet seeing the resulting stills proved every challenging posture was deeply worthwhile.
