[Shigure Ui cosplay] The VTuber's School Swimsuit Classroom Daily Life

For this shoot, a classroom was selected as the setting, and the outfit paired with it is also a very classic look of Shigure Ui. Since I am doing an Anime cosplay of this character, the accuracy of the school uniform details was our primary consideration; everything from the stitching on the edges of the white sailor collar at the neckline to the fabric of the red necktie and the way the bow is tied has been handled with great care. To make the texture of the twin tails closer to the original illustration, the stylist specially selected a glossy light blonde wig, and we compared many similar samples for the white hairball accessories on both sides, finally settling on this suede-textured one so it wouldn't look cheap.

Shooting in a classroom makes lighting a very interesting subject. The indoor light sources are quite messy, with both natural diffused light from the window and overhead incandescent lights. Therefore, during the initial shoot, we slightly lowered the ambient color temperature to give the overall frame a cool-toned Japanese film feel, and then uniformly adjusted the contrast between the navy blue of the school swimsuit and the white in post-processing. To be honest, the fabric of this school swimsuit is quite tight, making bending over or crouching down a real test of flexibility. However, to recreate that relaxed and lively school atmosphere, we still tried several different poses and compositions on the desks. Among the few photos released today, my personal favorite is the perspective of kneeling on the desk, using a medium-to-long telephoto lens to compress the perspective, highlighting my gaze and the hairball accessories I wore. Additionally, before the shoot, the team focused their lighting on the details of the school swimsuit to minimize the issue of excessive fabric reflection as much as possible, so that it could present the clean feel of the original setting of this VTuber character. The red and blue color scheme background of the classroom greatly accentuated the character's vitality, making the storytelling of this classroom photo set even more complete.
