[Cyrene Cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail — An Angel Strolling in a Mirror Space

This Cyrene costume took nearly two weeks of adjustments from the time I received the sample garment to the final makeup test. The crystal patterns on the chest and the gradient blending on the skirt hem were the most thought-provoking parts this time. To restore that lightweight, translucent texture, I tried several combinations of the inner lining and outer tulle, finally choosing a stitching of pearlescent white and light violet. Paired with the open-work floral ornaments on the arms, the overall visual style comes much closer to the ethereal temperament in the character setting. The hair is a customized gradient pink wig with subtle curls at the ends. The elf ears were secured with spirit gum during wear so that they wouldn't look out of place when turning or lowering my head.

On the day of the shoot, we chose this mirror space with floating frames. The ground features mirror reflections, surrounded by many lightboxes of classical oil paintings, which matches perfectly with the character's dreamlike and slightly mysterious setting. Standing here, I felt truly surrounded by those frames. The light poured down from above, landing on my pink wig and skirt hem, creating a soft highlight effect. During the shoot, to capture the exact moment of the fluttering skirt hem, I repeatedly jumped several times. Although it was a bit exhausting, the flowing feel in the final photos was absolutely worth it.

I tried my best not to miss any details in terms of character accuracy for this costume, including the rose knots on the wrists and the decorative decals on the legs, which were all manually modified. The happiest part of doing Anime cosplay is being able to bring my favorite characters into reality, and this shooting process for Cyrene gave me a deeper understanding of the character's own ethereal elegance. I hope this set of photos can convey the unique gentleness and serenity characteristic of this character.
