Today, I'm sharing a finished photoshoot of Ryuge Kisaki cosplay from Blue Archive, a project that took considerable thought from preparation to the final shoot. For the makeup, I focused heavily on sculpting the eye contours, using reddish tones and deepening the outer corners to embody the character's distinctive aura. The wig styling—with its precise trimming, side braids, and pinned bun—underwent several revisions before achieving a three-dimensional shape, finalized with blue butterfly hair ornaments and metallic horn accessories.

The wardrobe is the true centerpiece of this ensemble. The inner piece is a modified Qipao crafted from a dark, lustrous fabric, accented at the collar by blue floral frog buttons and bordered along the sides and bust with intricate golden embroidery that catches the light with a subtle sheen. Over it, I draped a deep slate-blue pinstriped trench coat off the shoulders, exposing the neckline and shoulder contours naturally while enriching the visual layering of the composition. Below, I paired it with sheer Black stockings and black high heels; under warm studio lighting, the delicate sheen of the stockings added rich textural depth while accentuating sleek leg lines. Black leather short gloves completed the look, bringing the details faithfully in line with the character design.

The studio set was designed with an enchanting Eastern fantasy ambiance: wooden lattice screens, a white plush mat, a circular round fan patterned with bamboo branches, alongside ceramic bowls and scattered miniature white rabbit figurines. Most notable was the wooden prop firearm resting beside me—the visual collision of classical softness with tactical elements added a sharp, dynamic edge to the overall frame. Accents of pink blossoms, white feathers, and warm glowing lanterns, combined with soft illumination, cultivated an intimate yet theatrical atmosphere.

During the session, I explored a wide range of body language: reclining languidly along the bench, sitting with crossed legs, or leaning gently against the wooden table—postures that showcased the rich textures of the Qipao and Black stockings to their fullest. To keep the frames feeling dynamic, I shifted my center of gravity and hand placements deliberately, allowing the photographer to capture poignant glances back at the camera. While the dress is form-fitting, moving around remained comfortably flexible, and the resilient elasticity of the Black stockings meant I could pose freely without worrying about fabric strain. The entire shoot went smoothly, and both the lighting and character expression met our expectations. I hope this set conveys that singular blend of regal elegance and aloof mystique inherent to her character.
