[Sakiko Toyokawa cosplay] Light Blue Hair and White Stockings Uniform, a Quiet and Gentle Atmosphere

Finally finished editing this photo set of Sakiko Toyokawa. The pattern of this outfit looks simple, but the actual wearing effect is particularly picky about details. I deliberately chose a white shirt with a slightly stiffer fabric so that the neckline and cuffs can hold out neat lines. For the black bow at the neckline, I tried three tying methods and finally felt that this shape with a bit of natural drape fits the overall temperament best. The pleats of the gray plaid pleated skirt must be sharp; to prevent the pleats from bursting, an invisible skirt hoop was added inside the skirt, which, combined with the black wide waistband, makes the waist-cinching effect visually very obvious and improves the body proportion.

The grooming of the wig is also the focus this time. Light blue long straight hair plus low Blue hair twin tails tied with black ribbons on both sides make the overall look clean and a bit cold. The bangs were not cut into that heavy blunt style; they were slightly thinned out to create some layered textured strands, making it look more breathable and avoiding stiffness. I adjusted the height of the twin tails several times—too high looks too lively, and too low looks lifeless. Finally, it was set right below the ears, paired with the long ribbons hanging down naturally. When standing by the window with the wind blowing or walking around, the dynamic effect of the wig comes out. In terms of makeup, to match the blue hair, the contact lenses were chosen as a light gold-brown, and the eye makeup used a cool-toned earthy color system to deepen the contours, weakening the eyeliner and emphasizing a quiet, aloof gaze atmosphere.

The shooting location was chosen indoors with a large area of floor-to-ceiling grid windows and white gauze curtains. We mainly utilized natural light plus diffuser cloth. When the side-back light hits, the texture of the white shirt and White stockings will be particularly translucent in the frame. However, everyone must be careful when shooting White stockings because the fabric has strong reflection; if the light hits directly, the three-dimensional sense of the legs will disappear. During the shoot, we used a reflector to fill in the front dark areas and added black light-absorbing boards on the sides to suppress the edges, so that the lines of the legs would be sharper. The shoes were paired with patent leather Mary Jane shoes. Although wearing them makes the feet look small, patent leather really easily gets fingerprints and dust. I wiped them constantly during the shoot, so I recommend fellow hobbyists to bring a pack of wet wipes when going out.

In terms of pose guidance, compared to exaggerated posing, the atmosphere of this set of pictures leans more towards introverted. In the photo on the sofa, I am lying on the linen-textured fringe pillow with relaxed arms, not focusing my gaze on the lens, but looking slightly down and to the side, bringing out that lazy yet a bit melancholy feeling. When standing, hands are placed behind the back, or one hand gently pulls the bow at the neckline, giving the body a fulcrum so that the shoulders won't be stiff. White stockings are actually very fragile, especially when walking around changing scenes, as they are easily snagged by the skirt zipper or the edge of the sofa. My strategy for that day was to prepare two pairs as replacements just in case. I am personally very satisfied with the final output effect of this whole set of pictures, and I hope these small experiences in makeup, styling, and lighting can provide some reference for friends who want to try a similar style.
