This Ganyu Cinnamoroll themed styling actually took a long time to prepare. I've already posted the version with the jacket before, but privately I've always felt that this no-jacket version fits the lazy and slightly charming vibe of Ganyu in my mind much better. This shoot was mainly conducted indoors, utilizing the soft natural light filtering through the blinds, paired with cream-white bedding and that giant teddy bear, creating a cozy home atmosphere full of life.

The wig color was specifically chosen to be a sky-blue leaning light blue, with natural curls at the ends, paired with fluffy rabbit ears drooping on both sides, plus two blue-and-white hairpins, making it visually quite light. The main part of the outfit is this white camisole with lace patchwork and light blue bow straps. The overall tailoring is quite fitted but doesn't feel tight, leaving room for movement, allowing me to present a natural relaxation in front of the lens. Paired with a matching light blue choker and bow details on the wrists and ankles, the completeness of the overall look is greatly enhanced.

On the day of the shoot, I tried several different sitting postures. At first, I held this giant Cinnamoroll plushie on my lap with my hands resting naturally in front of my chest, bringing out a bit of a gentle feel; later, I tried a posture with my hands tucked between my legs, gazing straight ahead. This slightly innocent and well-behaved state fits the tone of this look better. The final posture, with my gaze slightly lowered and hands resting on my knees, captured a relaxed, unforced daily life vibe. The white blinds background is actually perfect for this light-colored outfit, as the diffuse reflection of the light makes the skin look exceptionally translucent.

Let's talk about the conceptualization process of this styling. The Ganyu Cinnamoroll theme we often talk about is actually meant to combine Ganyu's ethereal, celestial setting with Cinnamoroll's soft and cute elements, breaking the original seriousness in the game and adding some cute, life-like colors. Every time I release a cosplay photoshoot with stylistic variations like this, I try to balance maintaining the character's core features (such as blue hair and eye color—here I used purple contact lenses, which look gentler under natural light; although the original setting is red eyes, I made a trade-off to match the overall color tone) with incorporating personal preferences.

Regarding the makeup, this time it intentionally softened the contrast between shadows and highlights, ditching heavy eyeliner and instead using eyeshadow and a few eyelashes to emphasize the eyes. This makes it look more approachable, bringing out that relaxed vibe of a non-combat state. For props, the giant teddy bear and the Cinnamoroll pillow in my arms form a size contrast, adding layers to the frame so it doesn't look monotonous.

When shooting this photoshoot, the atmosphere is incredibly important. I don't like the stiffness of forced posing; I prefer to capture a relaxed afternoon from a friend's perspective, cradling a plush toy and unwinding in the room. Trimming the wig also took a lot of effort, because this hair color is quite bright, and any messiness at the ends would make it look cheap. Therefore, a massive amount of thinning was done early on to preserve this fluffy yet naturally draped effect. I hope everyone can also feel this simple, home-style 2D atmosphere. After all, besides restoration, cosplay is also a way of expressing personal aesthetics. That's all for this no-jacket version. Good night.
