The core concept of this White studio photography shoot featuring Dorothy cosplay in a cheongsam was to deeply integrate the elements of a white studio and Cheongsam cosplay. The costume utilized generous amounts of semi-sheer white tulle and lace materials, combined with a traditional Chinese mandarin stand-up collar. The sleeves featured voluminous ruffled edges, while pink accents along the skirt hem and trim allowed the garment under high-key studio lighting to radiate both pristine purity and the signature luxurious princess flair of this NIKKE character.

In preparing the hair and makeup, I stayed as close as possible to the canon character setting. The long pink hair was styled into a side chignon adorned with floral hair accessories featuring purple-blue accents. Paired with purple-pink colored contact lenses, the eye makeup highlighted the contours beneath the eyes and eyelashes, giving the gaze a tender, dreamy depth in close-ups. In a white studio environment, colors tend to look washed out, so I selected a radiant reddish lipstick to maintain dimensional facial depth under this extremely bright lighting setup.

Great care went into arranging the set. A white European-style vintage carved chair, Roman pillars, and a white picture frame/fireplace mantelpiece, complemented by a lavish spread of white lilies, crafted the sensation of standing inside a palace greenhouse garden. The black wrought-iron birdcage served as a crucial dark accent in the frame, cleverly breaking up the monotony of pure white space with vintage elegance. The orange was actually an impromptu prop picked up on set, yet offering it while kneeling added an unexpectedly lively, interactive touch to the scene.

The feather fan paired seamlessly with this white cheongsam. During the shoot, I explored various compositional perspectives. Particularly in the shots sitting with legs crossed on the chair, the delicate lace trim along the edges of the white thigh-high stockings paired with the slit of the Cheongsam cosplay, naturally accentuating leg lines in this White tights cosplay styling. The white pointed high heels not only elevated my height but gave the overall silhouette a crisp, refined look. Standing atop the circular platform waving the feather fan was intended to showcase the multi-layered ruffled design along the sides and back of the dress.

Honestly, shooting predominantly white clothing in White studio photography is quite challenging. Fortunately, the photographer collaborated skillfully with lighting, using side-backlighting to preserve the intricate lace textures and folds of the fabric while maintaining a bright, translucent clarity across the frame. At the same time, using a wide aperture softly blurred the white flowers in the background, locking all visual focus onto the character. Sorting through these photos, the character's expressive tension across shifting poses was truly palpable.

Achieving this dreamy, translucent visual effect from preparation to final delivery made me thoroughly delighted. Although keeping the outfit immaculate during the shoot took considerable effort, the final frames met every expectation—from garment details and White tights cosplay coordination to the overall enchanting atmosphere.
