Having long dreamed of shooting a coastal seaside theme, finding this location equipped with blue mosaic tile pools, whitewashed wooden panel walls, and wooden sun loungers made the decision instant. While the caption references winter soaking in a swimming pool, the water on set was not terribly freezing; however, kneeling against the submerged tiled basin for extended takes took quite a physical toll on my knees.
Let's break down the outfit's nuances first. Anchored in classic nautical navy styling, the blue-and-white striped sailor cap harmonizes with the linear accents on the pleated skirt. For the top, I selected a semi-sheer textile worn over a color-matched base layer, producing an airy, delicate translucency under the studio lamps. The bright yellow necktie serves as the visual centerpiece, accented with a crimson ring ornament at the collar and a matching yellow scrunchie on my wrist to make the palette pop.
