[Tachibana Nozomi cosplay] Blue Archive After-School Campus Sports Time

Slipping into this school sportswear and sitting amidst the familiar desks and chairs, the tranquility and vitality of after-school moments freeze together in the frame. Choosing to shoot Tachibana Nozomi from Blue Archive this time was inspired by her youthfulness and that unique blend of subtle rebelliousness and warmth characteristic of the Highlander Twins. To faithfully recreate her features, I specially styled elf ears and managed the light green wig into a high side ponytail, paired with her signature curved forehead accessory, giving the look a student vibe with a touch of 2D vivacity.

Regarding the outfit, the classic white T-shirt with black trim is paired with navy blue athletic shorts, where the three white stripes along the sides recreate great character detail. To complete the athletic style, I specifically matched it with white over-the-knee socks, which not only elongate the leg line but also create a visual extension against the pure white backdrop. For lighting, we used a bright high-key lighting setup; the even light eliminated harsh shadows, giving the white T-shirt and white over-the-knee socks a clean and translucent texture. Looking at the photos, you'll notice that while the overall style is cool, bright, and high-key, I applied a subtle reddish-pink blend to the eye makeup, injecting the character's signature attitude into the pure school uniform aesthetic.

For the first snapshot, I chose the moment of sitting on the desk—one knee propped against the chair back while the other leg drapes naturally, gently pulling at the corner of my eye. This pose is lively with a mischievous playfulness, perfectly matching the relaxed after-school mood. The second shot switches to straddling the chair backwards, leaning fully against the backrest with hands resting loosely, attempting to convey a subtle state between lazy ease and alertness. The third shot featuring side splits on the floor was a pose I was personally very pleased with; executing it required not only great physical flexibility, but also maintaining balance and facial expression under bright lighting. Wearing this functional student gear made stretching out feel effortless.

This shoot was once again a full collaboration from early prep to on-site staging. To complement the classroom desk-and-chair set, we had to ensure the composition was free of clutter; the wooden textures of the chairs and desks provided natural color anchors against the pure white background. For post-processing, I insisted on not over-smoothing skin textures, preserving the natural light-and-shadow transitions, only fine-tuning the white balance to ensure no color clashes between the light green wig and skin tones. The elf ears and headpiece were among the trickier parts of this styling; to prevent them from falling off during dynamic movements, we used secure adhesion, allowing us to smoothly freeze these three poses of varying motion.

For the Highlander Twins, everyday campus life is often where their bond shines brightest. Even without my partner present, portraying her solo still allowed me to appreciate Tachibana Nozomi's unique charm.
