[Shirasu Azusa cosplay] Blue Archive Summer outfit poolside photoshoot refreshing experience

Do you want to play in the water with Mizu Azusa this summer? This sentence is actually the theme of my shoot this time. To restore Shirasu Azusa's Summer outfit from Blue Archive, we specially chose an outdoor swimming pool with palm trees for shooting. Although this outfit looks light, wearing it to shoot water scenes is actually quite challenging. The top is a black strapless design, with a bright pink bow very eye-catching on the chest. The pink striped ruffled short skirt below has layered tulle, making it very layered when walking. What I like most is the pair of detachable wide white sleeves with light blue lace edges. When the wind blows or they sway in the water, the visual effect is exceptionally ethereal. Because we were going into the water, the waterproof work for the wig and makeup was done very thoroughly. Shirasu Azusa's light-colored long wig is decorated with red polka-dot hair clips and fruit hair accessories featuring watermelon and orange elements, and the colorful beaded necklace on her neck has also become an eye-catching accent in the entire light-toned styling. These details all need to be repeatedly checked in front of the lens. The shooting is divided into three parts. When sitting cross-legged by the pool, it is mainly to showcase the overall details of the clothing, with hand movements gently resting near the chin to make the frame look quieter. Later, when getting into the water sitting in a transparent inflatable swim ring, the sense of unreality brought by the buoyancy actually fit the character's temperament very well. The legs underwater are naturally extended, with toes lightly touching the water surface; to maintain balance, the hands need to be slightly opened. Water splashes on the white translucent sleeves, coupled with the light and shadow refracted by the water surface, creating a very good texture in the photos. Finally, standing on the wooden boardwalk with arms spread, using a panoramic view to showcase the wide sleeves and overall tailoring, the background palm trees and distant city buildings just create a resort atmosphere. In fact, under direct sunlight, it is hard to keep eyes fully open, plus controlling expressions not to frown because of the glare, which is a test for expression management. To ensure sun protection, during shooting breaks I would immediately put on a sun-protection hoodie to avoid obvious skin color differences affecting the final photos. Shooting by the water also requires constant attention to the wig's state; once it gets wet, it is easy to tangle, so extra care is needed every time approaching the water source. Although the whole shooting process was a bit exhausting, seeing the effect of sunlight, water waves, and costume colors blending together in the finished photos, I still feel it is very much worth it. This outfit itself carries a sense of refreshing yet slightly playful youthfulness, matching the pool scene, which fairly completely expresses the summer water-playing atmosphere in my heart.
