When the lights at the convention venue shone down, the texture of this styling was fully showcased. The golden wig floated naturally during movements, coupled with that small ahoge on top of the head, instantly maximizing the overall Anime cosplay feel. In terms of makeup, blue contact lenses were specially used, paired with pink-toned blush, giving the face a three-dimensional sense even under strong light.
The details of the clothing are actually a big test. The edges of the white halter crop top feature plush decorations, adorned with golden fabric and pink hearts in the middle. To fit the figure well, the fixed positions were adjusted for a long time before the shoot. The white multi-layered ruffled short skirt on the lower body comes with its own puffiness, with pink hearts and gold chains hanging at the waist, producing a slight metallic clashing sound when walking. Although the angel wings on the back are not large, the weight is mainly concentrated on the shoulder straps, and shoulders really do get a bit sore after shooting several sets of actions consecutively.
To match this style, in terms of action design, I tried to choose poses with high tension. Whether jumping, aiming, squatting, or doing a split, core strength is required to maintain balance. Especially the transparent chunky-heeled high heels on my feet—although they visually elongated the leg lines and the golden straps around the calves reinforced stability, completing giant strides and squats on the hard convention floor makes the center of gravity extremely difficult to control. The photographer captured many shots before selecting these Convention photos with no passersby in the background and completely spot-on lighting.
During shooting breaks, quite a few friends visiting the convention came over to say hello, and everyone asked about the wearing experience of this outfit. Actually, transparent heels and thickened platforms are very suitable for walking around conventions, but the gold straps need to be wrapped just right: too tight affects blood circulation, and too loose makes them slip easily, requiring ten-plus minutes of readjustment before every shoot. The blue-and-white toy gun held in hand, with its bow decoration, formed a nice contrast with the overall cute style.
Since it's an original angel style without a specific character setting, it gave me a lot of creative freedom in action choreography. From raising the gun to aim to jumping, every picture tries different bodily expressions. The greatest charm of Convention photos lies in the authenticity of light and shadow and the capture of on-site atmosphere; without overly complicated post-processing, it can present very vivid images. Although the action amplitude was large this time, the costume pattern and prop coordination were both high, and the final finished photos are full of a powerful sense.
