This Genshin Impact Sangonomiya Kokomi photoshoot focused primarily on the textural contrast between the aquatic ripples of the skirt and the look of white stockings paired with black platform shoes. The garment features a subtle dark-to-light blue gradient, crafted with translucent chiffon and ruffled lettuce trims that sway weightlessly in motion. The delicate lace choker and sapphire pendant around the neck add an extra touch of refinement. Shooting locations included a sunlit outdoor lawn and modern glass staircases inside a mall. To complement the character's lively yet gentle disposition, we planned poses such as sitting with legs extended while flashing a V-sign, kneeling with hands folded in prayer, and standing gracefully on one leg—leveraging wide-angle framing and a shallow depth of field to elongate bodily proportions, particularly highlighting the slender leg lines in white stockings and the arch of the back. Under backlight, the pastel pink-and-blue gradient of the wig tips glowed with sheer translucence, casting pristine, clean highlights across my face. Because the costume already offers rich layered construction, post-processing avoided excessive visual effects, focusing on softening skin tones and background gradients. With the Hydro element being so central to the character design, we strove to maintain a crisp, airy aesthetic rather than anything visually heavy. Looking over these convention photos, I hope fellow fans appreciate the costume's fine nuances, like the red knotted cord ornaments on the sleeves and the shimmering silver embroidery along the skirt hem. The entire shoot was delightfully relaxed, and adjusting shoe angles on the fly helped maximize the flattering line of the white stockings. I am thrilled with the final results, which captured her tranquil ambiance so well, and happy to document both my styling thoughts and behind-the-scenes reflections here.
