This shoot took roughly half a month from location scouting to execution. To faithfully recreate the designs of Shiroko Sunaookami and Shiroko Terror, we prepared numerous details well in advance. The wigs were chosen in long, straight silver-gray styles and paired with animal ears in matching tones. The halo props above the head were crucial—Shiroko's light blue halo and Kuroko's double-layered black halo were hand-crafted from lightweight materials, painted, and assembled to ensure wearing them all day wouldn't feel too heavy.

For makeup, blue contact lenses were used to brighten the eyes, with reddish eye shadow diffused broadly around the contours to enhance the anime aesthetic. While both of our makeup styles remained consistent, subtle adjustments were made to the eye detailing to align with their respective personalities. The wardrobe featured classic school uniforms: white short-sleeved shirts, pale blue ties, and navy striped plaid pleated skirts. On the legs, we paired them with calf-length White stockings, keeping the overall palette visually pristine. This combination photographed wonderfully inside the classroom, feeling grounded in daily life yet steeped in lore.

The shooting location was an empty classroom with original wooden desks, chairs, and a chalkboard, fitting the campus theme seamlessly. We sat atop the desks, seeking to evoke an authentic, relaxed school day. Shiroko leaned forward while Kuroko rested a hand on her shoulder from behind—this gentle physical reliance beautifully conveyed the bond between them. To accentuate body lines, the composition deliberately left breathing room around the legs. The White stockings paired against the dark navy plaid pleated skirts yielded crisp contrast against the warm wooden tones, looking exceptionally clean. The arrangement of desks and chairs was also reordered during the shoot to ensure our interactions felt natural without crowding the frame.

We relied primarily on natural light streaming through the windows onto our figures, giving the skin a bright, translucent glow. To capture the most organic states, we often chatted between takes, allowing the photographer to catch candid, relaxed expressions. Shiroko maintained a serene expression, while Kuroko leaned into a slightly more nonchalant demeanor. Holding the same pose in front of the lens for extended periods was tiring, especially sustaining that gentle physical lean. The photographer constantly shifted angles—such as trying a slightly low-angle perspective to elongate leg lines while seated on the desk, while simultaneously avoiding unwanted clutter in the background. At times, chalk doodles left on the blackboard were used as background accents to enrich the visual story.

In terms of prop details, securing the halos was a minor challenge, requiring thin wire concealed within the wig fibers to prevent any shifting during motion. The White stockings looked even better than anticipated, blending harmoniously against the wooden floorboards and school desks to convey a youthful, tranquil aesthetic. Prior to shooting, we practiced hand placements together—such as resting hands on knees or lightly cupping a cheek—micro-actions that helped us appear natural rather than rigid. The entire session flowed smoothly thanks to great chemistry between the two of us, allowing us to respond swiftly to the photographer's cues. This set documents an afternoon in the classroom, serving as our complete visual interpretation of these two characters. It offered valuable experience in costume coordination and prop crafting, and we look forward to exploring even more diverse settings in the future.
