[Shiroko Sunaookami Cosplay] Recreating Summer Pool Moments Under the 30-Degree Scorching Sun

Sitting by the edge of the mosaic-tiled Summer pool under temperatures exceeding thirty degrees, I felt like I was practically melting. To capture the refreshing vibe of Shiroko Sunaookami's Swimsuit cosplay (Shiroko Sunaookami Cosplay), the preparation was far more meticulous than anticipated.

Starting with the wig: to achieve that airy, natural silver-gray tone without looking stiff, I re-trimmed the curvature of the bangs, ensuring the side locks naturally framed my facial contour. The fluffy Animal ears on top were a real test of positioning; I adjusted the securing angle repeatedly to make sure they wouldn't slide forward and obstruct my vision when looking down for selfies.

The makeup was specially tailored for summer. I selected a pair of crystal-clear cyan-blue contact lenses to recreate the character's gaze, applying wide-set lashes and a noticeable lower eyeliner drop to give the eyes a rounder, more anime-faithful look. Sweatproofing was the biggest challenge—under high heat, the base makeup had to remain ultra-light yet resilient. To avoid oily glare in highlighted areas, I deliberately set the face with matte powder to maintain a cool, slightly dorky yet endearing texture.

The dark one-piece swimsuit with vibrant cyan shoulder straps offers strong linear definition, and its slim cut beautifully accentuates body contours. The poses were also carefully refined: in the first photo, subtly raising the right hand creates a playful look, while the second photo features a left-hand grasping gesture for a fuller composition, leaning slightly toward the lens to highlight leg lines and overall body proportions.

Outdoor shooting sets high demands on ambient lighting; we took advantage of reflections from the Summer pool, where the blue-and-white tiles created natural water ripples that cast a realistic, translucent glow onto the skin. From tidying the outfit and adjusting angles to checking screen reflections under the dizzying sun, seeing the final results made everything completely worthwhile. I hope everyone can feel this cool summer charm—the character inherently carries a cool persona mixed with a slight awkwardness around water, and immersing myself in that contrast after putting on the gear is why I love doing this Roleplay so much.
