I directly put on this Arknights Rosmontis cosplay costume and began the official shoot for this set of photos. The layers of this outfit are far more complex than when I first saw the prototyping pattern; the white lace and main fabric have great crispness, and the blue-and-black geometric pattern patchwork combined with black ruffle trim allows the overall look to possess the sweetness belonging to anime-style photography while not losing the character's inherent cool and translucent temperament.

The white wig paired with the fluffy white moe animal ears prop serves as the soul of this look. To maintain the wig's natural luster under the lights, I specially combed through the hair flow before the shoot to ensure the hair's fluffiness. For the eye makeup, I abandoned large areas of high-saturation colors, choosing polarized light-green contact lenses paired with a slight reddish blend at the edges of the eyeshadow to make the gaze softer and full of spirit. Throughout the entire makeup and styling process, I made sure to maintain the transparency of my skin tone and base makeup, so it wouldn't look heavy under the studio's top light and side highlights.

The scene for this shoot fits the character image perfectly. The live set was decorated with white feathers, a black crucifix backdrop, and a gold-carved European-style sofa chair. The black mirror-finished floor tiles directly in front provided an excellent sense of extension and reflection effects, giving the composition more layers. The prop crew also prepared vintage thick books, huge white international chess pieces, and a metallic-textured desk lamp stand. The rational placement of these small items made the entire shooting environment more immersive.

During the actual shoot, the photographer requested me to strike different poses to showcase the costume details. For instance, in the single-leg standing pose in image 2, I gently pulled the skirt hem with one hand while my toes lightly touched the ground; this movement beautifully demonstrates the layered feel and asymmetrical design of the skirt hem, while the exposed leg lines make the visual effect more lightweight and lively. In image 3, I sat on the sofa cradling a vintage book with legs crossed, matching the details of the short boots and white leg warmers, making the overall posture more restrained and static, fitting the character setting of holding objects. Image 1 features a completely relaxed sitting pose, shown barefoot without shoes, where the white feather background forms a powerful visual contrast with the cool-toned costume.

In terms of light and shadow, we used high-brightness soft light sources instead of deliberately pursuing sharp shadows, creating a blooming effect through diffuse reflection. This both allowed the white wig, moe animal ears, and skirt hem to look pure and immaculately white, and prevented the black trim and hair accessories from becoming a lifeless void of black. The reflection on the floor is also a part I love very much; it not only echoed the contours of the props above but also enhanced the spatial sense of the entire frame.

The shooting process was actually filled with the control of details, such as adjusting the tightness of the blue-and-black striped straps and smoothing the creases of the semi-translucent bubble sleeves, all of which needed to be corrected during each shutter interval. Although I continued shooting indoors in this outfit for quite a long time, seeing the expected final output on the monitor screen every time made me feel that the early preparations were thoroughly worth it. I am personally satisfied with the completeness of this makeup, styling, and shoot; it restored the visual effects of this character setting in my heart and is a cosplay attempt I like very much recently.
