I definitely need to document my try-on experience with this outfit in detail. The upper body features a navy-blue short-sleeved top with a slender red ribbon tied into a bow at the chest; the fabric incorporates white pinstripes and embroidered snowflakes, giving off a delicate sheen under the lights. The cuffs are trimmed with white ruffles, and the wrists are accented with blue-and-white ties and lace wristbands. The lower half is a deep blue jagged-cut skirt edged in white piping, adorned with white diamond patterns. Because the hem takes on an irregular icicle silhouette, a fluffy white lace petticoat is worn underneath to support its three-dimensional volume. For the legs, I wore white lace-trimmed mid-calf socks paired with glossy black flat leather shoes with rounded toes.
After putting on the pale-blue wig with blunt bangs, a voluminous blue-and-white sheer grid ribbon bow was positioned atop my head, complete with ruffled white lace along the edges. The blue-and-white ice crystal wings on my back are cleverly designed and remarkably easy to put on without restricting broad arm movements. For these try-on photos, I prepared two poses. The first is standing front and center with hands folded over my chest to showcase the overall proportions and the skirt's full volume. The second is a profile pose, raising my left hand to point upward while holding a thin dark blue ribbon, with my left leg lifted back in a single-leg balance. Posing on one leg during a fitting really tests your balance, but because the costume's overall weight is modest, moving around felt quite nimble, and the back attachments never felt burdensome.
Styling the wig requires some care—the bangs and side-swept locks need clean, neat trimming, and the pale blue tends to look grayish against a white background, which will need slight color calibration in post. The snowflake embroidery and ice crystal embellishments on the garment are rich with nuance, and the slender red ribbon across the chest hangs with a pleasing drape. The blue-and-white palette delivers an unmistakably refreshing visual chill that harmonizes perfectly with the character's core elements. The fitting was a resounding success, every accessory stayed firmly anchored, and I'm looking forward to taking this out for an on-location shoot next time.
