I took advantage of the weekend to complete this Honor of Kings Daji My Melody cosplay shoot at the studio; the overall pink-and-blue color scheme was largely decided during early planning. For hair and makeup, to convey a lively and playful atmosphere, the long pink wig underwent targeted styling. The pointed styling on both sides was relatively heavy, requiring patient adjustments to balance the wig's center of gravity. For eye makeup, pearlescent pink-brown tones were paired with light blue contact lenses to make the gaze look more dynamic and lively. This dress has numerous design layers; the ruffles along the neckline, various bows at the chest and skirt, and lace details constantly needed smoothing out. The petticoat could neither be too stiff nor too soft—this softer tulle petticoat created better drape and wavy flow, which, paired with over-the-knee White stockings and chunky platform heels, elongated leg proportions beautifully. To accentuate attractive silhouettes during shooting, we primarily used low-angle upward framing paired with crossed-leg poses seated along the edge of a column, creating strong visual appeal while the White stockings texture stood out with rich detail under the studio lights. Props were also well-prepared: the lace umbrella, mirror, and cake tray offered tremendous help when posing, as interacting with handheld items effectively relieved stiff posture. The cotton candy and balloon elements in the set perfectly matched the overall vibe; under the photographer's meticulously controlled soft lighting, both skin tones and costume textures appeared exceptionally clean and translucent in this Anime-style photography set. Although the heavy wig and shoes consumed significant stamina during the shoot, the finished Cosplay photoshoot faithfully captured the character's signature sweetness.
