This outfit is the version designed by Sensenxian, blending a red and white color palette with a generous amount of lace and ruffles to integrate more gorgeousness into the traditional shrine maiden attire. The shide (paper streamers) of the headpiece and the red ribbon are Reimu's iconic elements. For this piece of Shrine photography, we specifically chose a stone step scene near the shrine, where the sunlight filtered through the leaves and landed right on the lace of the skirt hem, instantly bringing out a wonderful sense of layering.

As for props, the classic Gohei was used. Holding it while striking a sitting posture not only maintains the character's leisurely temperament but also gives the frame a stable visual centerpiece. The makeup was kept clean and translucent without any intentional exaggeration, relying mainly on the costume and expressions to recreate Reimu Hakurei's seemingly easygoing yet reliable vibe.

The lighting conditions for this shoot were ideal; the afternoon side-backlighting created a soft silhouette around the edges of the figure, forming a sharp contrast with the rough stone surface. Characters from Touhou Project have always been highly charming. As the protagonist, Reimu's red and white shrine maiden suit is a classic among classics. Attempting to interpret the same character with different styles always brings new discoveries—for instance, the clash between lace and traditional elements is incredibly fascinating. I hope this photo can convey a bit of the daily life vibe of Gensokyo for this Shrine maiden cosplay.
