Immersing myself in the atmosphere of the Shinto shrine, this Reimu Hakurei Cosplay really made me very dedicated. To restore Reimu's holy and slightly mysterious sense of prayer, I put a lot of effort into the makeup and styling. The layered lace texture of this red and white dress has a great sense of depth under soft lighting, perfectly matching the cool temperament of Reimu in the Touhou Project. During the shoot, I paid special attention to capturing the expression, wanting to grasp that moment of focused prayer in a quiet space. Post-processing was quite a technical challenge, as over-editing can easily lead to the "uncanny valley effect," so I deliberated repeatedly on the skin texture and the fusion of light and shadow, hoping to balance the realism of the output with the character's restoration. The ofuda and gohei in my hands serve as core accessories, adding many details to the entire frame. I hope this set of photos can bring you a little bit of tranquility from the fantasy world.
