[Moria Ruruka cosplay] Magical Moments of Detective Precure!

The Convention photos for this Moria Ruruka set are finally compiled, so I selected a few favorite frames to share. The black-and-gold colorway provides rich depth: the purple gemstone centering the neck ribbon and gold trims outlining the skirt hem offer delicate polish. Caring for the oversized hair bow and the gradient violet wig required patience; the looped halo ring hair atop the head was sculpted lock by lock using styling wax and hairspray, which took considerable time. The magic wand prop felt substantial in hand, with crisp details on the crimson bow and cards, though it grew slightly heavy during extended posing.

The convention floor was packed on the day of the shoot, making finding clean angles and dodging crowds time-consuming. The fourth shot seated on the white suitcase came about because my feet were sore from standing, so I sat down to rest; the photographer noted that from this vantage, the greyish-purple ACGN stockings paired with golden heeled booties beautifully elongated leg lines in a relaxed, effortless pose, making it an easy pick for the cover. Beyond that, we explored half-kneeling stances and dynamic poses wielding the wand—the short hemline required constant vigilance against wardrobe malfunctions, but the resulting silhouettes were fantastic.

Lighting across the convention hall was erratic; to accentuate the black-and-gold textures and the soft pink-purple eye makeup, the background was deliberately stopped down in color grading to isolate the subject. Practicing subtle gazes in the mirror paid off in capturing her signature playful yet enigmatic charm. Wearing this multi-layered ensemble with petticoats, gloves, and high heels across the crowded hall proved physically taxing, but seeing these polished frames made every effort worthwhile.
