The Studio shoot plan for Cai Feng Ming Qi was finalized quite early on, primarily aiming to capture that composed calm yet razor-sharp edge inherent to the character. The chromatic contrast of red, white, and black on the costume, accented by golden tassels and red Chinese knots, delivered profound visual depth before the lens. For props, we prepared a guqin, scrolls, and calligraphy brushes, deliberately adding a small mascot plushie to introduce an intimate, everyday touch.

The shoot took place at the Fuzhou Qingkong Yinghua studio, where the practical set design was phenomenal. Red maples, landscape scroll paintings, and wooden screens—paired with water ripple reflections simulated across the floor—collectively fostered a somber, deeply immersive Chinese aesthetic atmosphere. Amaran lighting fixtures were utilized, and photographer @斩马3号机 demonstrated meticulous precision in light control. To ensure the frames gained dimensionality without forfeiting hazy classical romance, we made extensive use of rim and edge backlighting to carve out my silhouette and the fringes of my hair strands. Because the entire set skewed dark, fill light across the face remained restrained, allowing the figure to emerge cleanly from the scene without appearing jarring.

The first set focused on static stillness: sitting cross-legged atop a wooden platform with the guqin laid out before me. While seemingly simple, holding this posture tested lower-back endurance significantly. Fingers rested lightly across the strings while my eyes maintained a focused yet transcendent gaze. To capture the fabric's organic drape and sheen, every fold on the skirt hem and mantle was smoothed by hand on set.

Moving to the second set of dynamic frames, the pacing accelerated rapidly. To channel the character's fiercer visual tension, I stood up, lifting the white hood with one hand while tossing the elongated white fabric streamer with the other. The trajectory of billowing silk in midair is unpredictable, demanding constant recalibration of tossing strength and angle. The photographer captured the exact split second the fabric unfurled overhead; combined with the upward motion and a subtle low-angle perspective, it communicated a contained yet explosive power. Light danced between the crimson hair and the stark white textiles—capturing dynamic bursts proved vastly more difficult than static poses, yet endowed the final frames with vibrant vitality.

The entire shoot relied heavily on seamless teamwork—from pre-shoot wardrobe prep and on-set lighting calibration to iterative postural adjustments. @狂暴超声波打蛋器 provided invaluable support with makeup and hair styling, especially with anchoring the hood and layered tresses so the look stayed rock-solid through broad, sweeping movements. A dedicated studio shoot truly offers optimal environmental control and lighting design, allowing every nuance to materialize as envisioned. Wrapping up such elaborate sets and choreography left me physically weary, but seeing the frames steadily converge toward our original vision on the camera monitor brought an irreplaceable sense of fulfillment.
