Every part of this Wakaba Mutsumi cosplay outfit, from the wig to the lace on the skirt hem, has undergone repeated adjustments. Especially the black bow and crescent decoration on the headpiece, paired with the light mint-green long straight hair, naturally exudes a cool and aloof temperament visually.

For the shoot, we chose this retro study scene. The dark wooden bookshelves and leather sofa perfectly balance the character's vibrant hair color, making the layers of the frame more distinct. The first pose of holding an old book was intended to recreate a quiet reading atmosphere, but the book in hand was actually just a prop with blank pages inside, so during the shoot, I had to pretend I was reading it intently. Later, I switched to a green plush rabbit doll. Since the character design often features these kinds of slightly gap-moe items, holding it felt much more natural for the roleplay than simply standing. The action of sitting on the edge of the desk in the third photo was actually a bit unstable, but the carved details of the desk legs beautifully echoed the white ruffles of the skirt hem.

My favorite is the fourth close-up shot. The side lighting came in and perfectly illuminated the amber colored contacts in my eyes, and the wig surprisingly revealed a hint of transparency under the top light. This makeup utilized a light pink lip color and fine eyeliner without overly heavy shading, staying closer to the character's own cold sense of having "no redundant emotions."

The fifth photo shows me sitting on the floor with a golden birdcage prop and a candlestick beside me. The overall tone leans dark, making it look like a doll forgotten in a corner. A lot of time was spent preparing for this shoot before and after; from the costume accessories to the scene's lighting arrangement, everything leaned as close as possible toward the original work's mysterious and serene direction. During the shoot, the puffiness of the skirt hem was adjusted many times because black lace material can easily be captured as a solid sheet of black, requiring a reflector to fill in the details. All in all, this set of photos is a cosplay collection that I am highly satisfied with recently.
