This shoot chose an indoor retro-style scene. The wooden cabinets and blue-and-white porcelain plates paired with green plants create an overall warm tone, forming a nice contrast with Rem's original blue, black, and white color palette.

For the wig, the thickness of the bangs was specially trimmed, preserving the iconic pink hair ribbon on the side and the white flower ornament. The hair texture looks quite natural under the lights without a strong plastic feel. In terms of the costume, the ruffles of the apron and the bow at the waist were pre-shaped so that they wouldn't collapse when standing. The purple paneling at the cuffs and the white lace edges also restore the layering of the original design.

I tried a few angles for the tray-holding posture. Holding it flat with one hand puts a bit of a test on the shoulder line; turning slightly sideways during the shoot makes the arm curves look smoother. For the makeup, the focus was on emphasizing the clarity of the blue eyes, choosing a cool-toned lip color to fit the character's detached yet gentle temperament.

Although this outfit is gorgeous, the corset part was tied quite tightly, requiring a bit of relaxation during shooting breaks. However, it was completely worth it for the final photo results. The indoor light was relatively soft, so no harsh flashes were used. In post-processing, the contrast was only slightly adjusted to preserve the real skin texture and the fabric weave of the costume.

Every time I do a Rem cosplay for Roleplay, I re-watch her detailed movements in the anime, hoping to convey that introverted yet determined feeling.
