Problem Solver 68's goal this time is to add hellish spice to our ramen! Haha, actually we really went all out today in a super hardcore manner. The burning flame special effect in Photo 1 is a true reflection of our inner thoughts when ordering. The four of us sat at the ramen shop counter, ordering several bowls of genuinely spicy ramen. Watching the steaming soup bowls and vibrant red chili oil, everyone's initial expressions were vivid. The member with long pink hair held wooden chopsticks, and while claiming she wanted to challenge the limit, she couldn't help showing a hint of surprise when facing the extra-spicy bowl. Meanwhile, the white-haired member maintained a composed, amused expression, looking completely unbothered in the frame. Everyone joked that after finishing this job, we'd finally have money for ramen—a truly relatable and down-to-earth Roleplay moment. We spent a wonderful feast time at the ramen shop, and the hellish spicy sticker effect added even more fun and visual punch to the photo.
After filling our stomachs, we moved to an outdoor location to assume a real combat stance—which is the scene you see in the third photo. Reversing their casual demeanor from the ramen shop, all four members instantly locked into character. The white-haired member on the front left raised a heavy red prop gun, holding a black tactical bag stamped with "LOVE & VIOLENCE", exuding a cool, dominant aura. The purple-haired member on the front right knelt down, firmly gripping a purple tactical firearm, aiming forward with steady eyes. The two members behind stayed active, taking support and defense positions, creating a tight team composition. This Problem Solver 68 squad completely upheld their hardcore style with spot-on uniform details. The black-and-red top paired with a necktie and pleated skirt, along with high boots and accessories, delivered both academic style and strong tactical flair. Distinct headpieces like the black mini top hat with red flowers and elf ears accurately recreated original lore settings.
As the primary costume team, we prepared for this look for a long time, striving for ideal visual results from selecting fabric textures to painting weapons. We encountered several challenges on shooting day: for example, lighting issues inside the ramen shop required multiple angle tweaks to ensure facial clarity while keeping shutter speeds fast enough to freeze the moment noodles were lifted. For outdoor scenes, catching rich dusk lighting, photographer Mr. Ankhol (雨宫) professionally utilized building porch light and shadows for illumination, achieving fantastic reflections on our metallic prop guns and boots. This was my first time attempting a multi-scene creative shoot combining comedy with tactical combat aesthetics.
To fit character traits in costume and makeup, I specifically paired a white wig and elf ears, while other members donned their corresponding hair colors and signature accessories. Our support crew was amazing, helping us adjust skirt hems and style bangs throughout the shoot to ensure every strand stayed in place for the final photos. Everyone was pumped upon getting the prop guns; the red gun was massive and heavy in hand, but this physical weight gave our poses greater dynamic tension. Problem Solver 68's motto is Love & Violence, a theme we carried throughout the entire session; the seamless teamwork filled the photos with an irreplaceable atmosphere.
We had an absolute blast during this shoot, capturing both the cozy daily life inside the ramen shop and the sharp, heroic style of tactical characters on the street. The photography team demonstrated delicate framing, balancing foreground close-ups with ramen shop ambiance and outdoor architectural backdrops. Post-production color grading was smooth and clear, exhibiting a transparent Japanese light-and-shadow quality that ensured top-tier image quality. This completes our record of Problem Solver 68's mission—every frozen moment reflects our hard work and joy. The carefully prepared tactical outfits and hardcore props paid off, presenting a multifaceted character image to the audience. Looking forward to vividly bringing our beloved characters and their daily lives to life again in future Cosplay photography projects.
