The finished photos of this Cheshire Cosplay look truly matched my expectations for capturing 2D anime characters in a real studio setting. The wig is primarily silver-gray with two-tone cyan-blue highlights; under soft lighting, the hair texture looks distinct and sharp. Paired with the large white lace bonnet on top and light purple bows with golden spherical bells on both sides, the 3D contour is remarkably striking.

For the outfit, I chose a dreamy dress featuring white and lavender spliced sheer ruffles. The white bodice seams are accented with dimensional floral appliqués, while the sleeves are translucent light-purple tulle lantern sleeves—layering these fabrics creates soft, nuanced gradients. The skirt combines a wide white base with outer tiers of purple tulle, perfectly bringing out the character's signature airy lightness when paired with a white tights cosplay look. When handling high-gloss fabrics and sheer textiles, studio shoots require strict control over creases and silhouettes to avoid looking bulky, and fortunately the final frames turned out wonderfully sleek.

We experimented with two primary compositions for this shoot. Photo 1 leans toward a dynamic, casual feel: seated on a vintage carved wooden armchair with legs naturally crossed and one foot slightly raised above a woven wicker basket. This posture highlights the interplay between the white tights and the skirt volume while adding a lively charm, perfectly showcasing the dreamy dress structure. The pink and blue faux floral bouquets in the background blend naturally with the setting, while a wicker picnic basket with baguettes and assorted bread rolls resting on the adjacent table adds wonderful environmental storytelling.

Photo 2 focuses on a close-up to capture the character's facial expression. To align with this 2D character's luminous clarity, I enhanced the translucent radiance of the base makeup, paired with bright blue contact lenses to give the gaze a sharper, captivating focus. Soft hues were chosen for the lips and blush; combined with a hand resting gently against the chin, it conveys a delicate, ethereal poise true to her persona. The advantage of this half-body close-up is drawing attention to subtle makeup nuances and the tactile textures of upper-body lace and pearl buttons in this Anime-style photography set.

For photography equipment and lighting, we skipped harsh, high-contrast hard lights in favor of high-key, softly diffused fill lighting throughout. This lighting softens sharp shadows, ensuring subtle, gentle highlights on both skin and fabric, harmonizing seamlessly with a design that blends celestial grace and sweetness. The entire shoot prioritized capturing garment silhouette and character expression without overcomplicating camera movement, preserving pure, exquisite static elegance and letting the character's visual design from Azur Lane speak for itself.
