This styling for the Psychologist's Everlasting Night skin is a special record I prepared during the Huizhou Little Bee Comic Con. The Psychologist's design in Identity V inherently carries a sense of calmness and melancholy, and the Everlasting Night theme skin pushes this temperament to the extreme Gothic style. Cosplaying this character is not just about restoration, but more about hoping to capture the unique serenity and ethereal nature of the character in front of the lens.

In terms of appearance design, black as the main color tone fits the Gothic style base beautifully, but what truly makes this outfit shine is the clash of details. The black arched headband of the headpiece is adorned with staggered metallic star and moon ornaments and two dark red roses, which perfectly balance the heaviness of the black color. The red rose decorations layered on the bodice and skirt hem, along with the sparkling star dots scattered throughout the sheer tulle, give the entire outfit rich layers under natural light. The three red tear marks under the eyes are the core of the makeup, giving the expression a unique charm of sorrow without being fierce. Paired with the long silver-white curly hair, the visual contrast is exceptionally strong.

When shooting this set, I intentionally chose outdoor concrete steps as the scene. These steps with a cold, rigid industrial feel can beautifully support the soft tulle and roses on the costume. The photographer is excellent at capturing light and shadow in such wide shots, and we tried several different postures on the steps. In the first standing photo where I lift the tulle skirt, the wind blows the sheer tulle into a natural arc, with crystal-like lens flares faintly visible; while for the few sitting on the steps, the goal was to showcase the character's lazy yet composed side through convention photography.

At the Huizhou Little Bee Comic Con, walking around in such an intricate Gothic style dress was actually not an easy task, especially with the long trailing tulle behind me that required constant attention not to be stepped on. But whenever I paused, or when the wind blew through the skirt hem revealing shimmering silver dots, that feeling of immersing into the character made me feel it was all worth it. For me, Identity V cosplay is not finished just by putting the clothes on; it requires touching the character's soul through the flow of the wig hair, the blending of the makeup, and every tiny expression in front of the lens.

We actually prepared for this shoot for quite a long time, including trimming and styling the wig, and fixing the prop flowers, striving for a complete and high-quality presentation of this Gothic style look. The uniqueness of the Everlasting Night skin lies in its brilliant combination of darkness and radiance, creating a wonderful contrast between hardcore black lace and soft shimmering tulle. I hope this set of photos allows friends who love Identity V or Gothic style to feel our dedication.
