This time shooting Kasugano Sora in her everyday outfit, the theme was set in the distant sky, at the edge of the firmament. The outdoor location was chosen in a place with many utility poles, green grass, and roads. I feel that this kind of everyday yet slightly desolate scene fits Sora's temperament, which carries a bit of alienation and loneliness.

In terms of clothing, this white dress has many details. The high-neck design, the front button placket, the ruffled cuffs, and the straps all needed to be ironed flat before the shoot to avoid looking cheap due to reflection under natural light. Since it's a pure white dress, it's very easy to overexpose under strong outdoor light, so it took some time to adjust the exposure parameters with the photographer. The wig is light golden long straight hair, paired with black bows on both sides; once worn, that doll-like feel instantly comes out.

For props, that dark gray rabbit plush toy is the soul of it. I prepared several shooting poses: holding it in front of my arms, like embracing the only sense of security; holding it by one ear with one hand to show a casual feeling; or placing it on the steps and daydreaming together. To show the feeling of the firmament, I took many low-angle shots under that utility pole with surveillance cameras and insulators. Low-angle shots not only allow the sky to occupy more of the frame, but also elongate the body lines.

In terms of makeup, to match the character's fairness, the base makeup was applied very cleanly and translucently. The eye makeup used a reddish eyeshadow as a base, with a slightly drooping innocent eyeliner, paired with a cool-toned lip glaze, overall pursuing a sense of transparency and fragility. Although I tried my best to restore it, I knew there would be some OOC (out of character), so I shot it with a sense of reverence.

The wind was very strong on the day of the shoot. When the skirt hem was blown up, a few shots were captured, and the fluffiness of the skirt combined with the dynamic movement of the wind worked very well. The photos sitting on the concrete platform deliberately revealed the white stockings and black Mary Jane shoes, which are also very iconic matching elements for everyday wear. The photo walking on the greenway utilized the blue and red markings on the road as visual guide lines; walking in the frame with bridges and distant houses in the background gives a sense of aimless wandering.

During the shoot, I tried to keep my gaze relaxed, not looking at the lens deliberately, but looking into the distance or at the rabbit in my hand. The white dress easily stands out against the green grass background, so no overly complicated post-processing color grading was needed; keeping the cyan-green tone of the original image looked very nice. The material of the dress is cotton-linen with a certain thickness, so it doesn't fly around randomly when the wind blows, but instead lifts with texture, which required finding the right wind direction during shooting. The shoes chosen were platform black Mary Janes, which not only slightly increased height, but were also relatively stable when walking on grass and steps. As for the choice of socks, regular white stockings easily reflect light, so a matte material was chosen so they wouldn't look abrupt under strong light. The whole shooting process felt like going on a field trip; although carrying long hair and props was quite tiring, seeing that serene atmosphere in the finished photos made all the hard work worth it.
