Preparing this Sunna styling took about half a month from initial concept to the final photo release, with most of the energy channeled into cutting the wig and gathering accessories. The Mint green wig needed to be trimmed with fluffy, softly curled layers, and the green horn-shaped headpieces featuring card motifs on top were customized by myself using lightweight clay and acrylic sheets. For makeup, generously blended crimson eye shadow and prominent blush were applied to accentuate that doll-like, adorable aesthetic.

For the outfit coordinate, the foundation was a white puff-sleeve button-down shirt; the black heart accent on the left chest pocket playfully echoed the star and wing graphics on the red necktie. The black ruffled mini skirt on the bottom offered wonderful textural depth, and I layered it with pink suspenders and a vibrantly colored cartoon waist pouch to shatter the monotony of the black-and-white base palette. To infuse a subculture edge, I specifically sought out black leather leg garters and a choker studded with metal rivets, complemented by pink-and-white knitted arm sleeves and striped leg warmers, using White stockings as the smooth visual transition for the lower half.

The location chosen was an all-white cyc studio, allowing high-saturation tones like mint green, vivid red, and bright pink to pop cleanly. I brought three primary props: a uniquely sculpted item decorated with red paint beside my feet, a vintage pink rotary dial phone in the foreground, and a solid white cylindrical pedestal. That pink phone was an absolute star in front of the lens; whether interacting beside it or holding the receiver as a visual anchor, it infused the composition with storytelling depth.

Throughout the shoot, because the coordinate featured numerous straps and leg sleeves, mobility was somewhat restricted—especially during seated poses, where the drape of the skirt and alignment of the strapping demanded continuous attention. I strove to keep movements organic while channeling Sunna's signature blend of mischievous charm and subtle little-devil energy. Striking peace signs on the floor or posing on the cylindrical pedestal with one hand on my hip may seem straightforward, but holding the angle of the headpieces while keeping the garments smooth was a true test of core balance. In that seated pose from photo two in particular, to clearly highlight the contrasting textures of the White stockings and pink-and-white striped leg warmers, I micro-adjusted the crossed-leg angles repeatedly; the photographer matched my vision seamlessly with bright, clean illumination that brought the knitted weave to life.

I vividly recall repeatedly pulling up the leg warmers during the seated shots to prevent them from sliding down. The black leather belts around the calves had metal buckles, requiring tension adjustments every time I sat down to avoid leaving indentations that could disrupt the visual line. The Mint green wig was prone to blowing out under intense studio strobes, so the photographer softened the side-backlights to keep the highlights gentle while carving out the layered definition of each strand. We also experimented with several tie knots, eventually settling on a slightly loose, effortless drape that paired with the black collar choker for a dash of rebellious attitude.

To inject extra playfulness, I coordinated subtle color echoes across the floor and backdrop. Post-production primarily focused on delivering a luminous, creamy skin tone while avoiding overly aggressive skin smoothing to preserve the natural grain of the makeup. Although injecting bright pink and mint green into a black-and-white palette created dynamic visual leaps, the finished composition felt surprisingly harmonious. Against the pure white backdrop, the spatial relationship between subject and props remained effortless to balance. Overall, executing this cosplay challenged not only costume fidelity, but also the total command of atmosphere in Studio cosplay.
