An old classroom was chosen as the primary setting for this shoot; the moment I saw the wooden desks and chalkboard, I knew it was the perfect pick. The shirt is an off-white shade featuring brown plaid accents along the collar, paired with a matching pleated skirt, black pantyhose, and round-toe block-heel shoes, completing the styling seamlessly. Wearing this School uniform felt wonderfully substantial, with fabric offering a pleasing drape. Throughout the session, prioritizing atmospheric mood took precedence over forcing complicated postures. We began standing by the window, but the photographer later suggested perching along the desk edge. Because the chair was tall, my feet could barely brush the floor once seated, requiring me to deliberately point my toes to extend the leg lines—which left my legs quite sore after a while. Later, we explored leaning flat across the desk gazing up into the lens, as well as kneeling on the wooden floor; although hard on the knees, the warm amber classroom light helped the final frames convey a gently melancholic, quiet maiden presence. Kasugano Sora's inner world felt tangibly realized within this space, weaving her canonical longing to shatter constraints and reach for the freedom of the outside world into my expressions. I am thoroughly satisfied with both the raw shots and post-production retouching: the garment details, sheer gradient of the Black stockings cosplay, and set dressing harmonized with the overarching theme, making the final pictures feel as if one were genuinely standing right inside the world of Yosuga no Sora.
