The core of this Zhongshan AS Sparkle Convention photos shoot was utilizing the venue's built-in cool industrial light sources to create a visual contrast with the costume's strong red, black, and white color palette. During the shoot, the convention foot traffic was massive, floor reflections were strong, and the background was quite cluttered, so we needed to subtract unnecessary elements in composition and lighting. After discussing with photographer NightDiva, we deliberately chose several spots with ground spotlights and black softboxes. The wig was styled in Twintails, and the bunny-ear hat headpiece really tested overall proportions, so I paid special attention to the tilt angles of my head and body during the shoot. The wide sleeves and red-and-black diamond patterns on the costume added great layering; paired with the waist bell and thigh garters, the overall visual center of gravity was well-balanced. The first set of sitting poses was shot sitting directly on a black photography stool, naturally showing off the lines of the legs and boots. The standing shot was taken later, requiring background lighting to create a shallow depth of field, with a large reflector on the front-side filling light to capture the flowing movement of the hair and skirt hem. The prop gun and short wand were also key focal points, reflecting light differently from various angles. During the shoot, I also tried interactive actions like holding a beverage cup to add a touch of playfulness. The venue lighting leaned blue, and post-processing preserved this cool layer directly to make the red on the outfit look purer. Overall, this styling received a lot of positive feedback at the convention, and the resulting photos restored that gorgeous yet aloof temperament of the setting very well. Thanks to photographer NightDiva's patient guidance in constantly adjusting camera positions and guiding poses, ultimately delivering these satisfying Convention photos.
