The convention photos from Day 3 of the 34th Firefly ACG Expo are finally sorted out! This set of Jirai-kei Hatsune Miku photos is a collection of convention photos from my attendance that I am highly satisfied with.

This outfit is primarily in a black-and-white color scheme. The white shirt of the top features ruffled cuffs and puff sleeves, while the neckline has black paneling paired with a giant bow tie ribbon, and the skirt hemline similarly features a ring of white ruffles. The silver heart-shaped hardware accessories on the dress echo the matching heart buckles on the shoes. These details add a touch of metallic texture beyond the sweetness, perfectly fitting the unique sweet-and-cool vibe of the Jirai-kei style.

The blue-green twin-tails wig features a pink-and-white gradient treatment at the tips, presenting a very natural gradient color difference under the lights. The translucent blue heart-shaped hair strands naturally forming on top of the head, along with the black X-shaped hairpins on both sides of the bangs, max out the recognizability of the overall look. The backcombing fluffiness is just right, showcasing a wonderful dynamic effect during the shoot without making the wig look stiff. The black leather choker coordinates with the bow tie at the neckline, making the visual layers around the neck even richer.

The eye makeup this time intentionally elongated the eyes, and the combination of eyeliner and glitter makes the gaze look clearer and brighter. A relatively large area of pink-orange blush was swept across both cheeks, which, paired with the naturally bright lip color, maintains a great complexion in front of the lens and matches the sweet style of the outfit beautifully.

The shooting time happened to catch the dusk's "golden hour," and the large aperture gave the background a beautiful bokeh effect, turning streetlights and distant landscape lamps into round, warm-toned light spots. This warm ambient light formed a powerful warm-and-cool contrast with the blue-green wig, making the figure stand out even more in the frame. At that time, to perfectly capture these movements, the photographer and I repeatedly adjusted our angles and poses several times.

I tried quite a few different little gestures this time, such as lifting the skirt hem, standing on one leg while making a finger heart, and holding my face with both hands—all rather playful and cute poses. Paired with the thick-soled black Mary Jane platform shoes, my overall center of gravity and upper body posture remained quite natural. Especially the action of standing on one leg not only enhanced the dynamic motion of the frame but also perfectly displayed the full costume details. Although the platform shoes look heavy, they are actually quite stable to walk in. The black pinafore dress and the paneled design on the upper body give the entire garment a rich sense of layers, preventing the waistline from appearing blurred.

When cosplaying characters like this, the secureness of the wig and hair accessories is also crucial, otherwise they easily fall out with larger movements. After a whole day of shooting, every part of the hair was fixed very securely without any messy strands. Furthermore, during this period before the sun went down, the light changed very rapidly, so I am truly grateful for the photographer's sharp capture to snap these clear and beautiful photos.

Thanks to teacher @八次方根 for the patient photography and guidance, turning the convention photos into a highly textured result. My biggest takeaway from wearing this outfit is that, even though it's a Jirai-kei look, it doesn't feel excessively gloomy when worn, but rather feels perfect for these cute moments. The experience at this Firefly ACG Expo was wonderful, and I hope to share this happiness with everyone through these convention photos.
