A lot of thought went into this Rabbit Hole Zombie Miku Hatsune Miku cosplay, from the makeup and styling to the costume. The yellow talisman on the top of the head and the purple-pink gradient twin tails are key. To recreate that cute yet slightly eerie temperament, the eyeshadow blending area was intentionally deepened, and pink-purple contact lenses were used to make the gaze look more agile. The outfit is an improved cheongsam made of purple satin, featuring many frog-closure and golden piping details at the collar. The sleeves are designed to be wide and detached, creating a fantastic sense of dynamism when swung during the shoot. The lower half features black shorts paired with black tights. To match this darker-toned look, black platform Mary Janes were chosen, which elongated the leg proportions while adding a sense of stability.
The shooting scene for this Cosplay photography session was arranged very cleanly, with a pure white background and high-key lighting fully presenting the texture of the costume. The second image was actually captured at the exact moment of jumping; the fluttering arc of the sleeves and the one-legged raised posture heavily tested balance, requiring multiple trials before achieving a satisfying result. The third image changes to a kneeling posture, with the talisman hanging just by the side of the forehead, bringing a playful sense of defiance. Generally speaking, the visual focus of this styling is quite concentrated, meaning it didn't require a complex scene during the shoot; the character's personality could be conveyed solely through body language and expressions. Detailed elements like bandages and talismans are also very eye-catching through the lens, making the layers of the look richer. As a convention photo, it clearly captured the luster of the fabric and the hair flow of the wig, serving as a nice record of my preparation for this 2D representation.
