This time I tried this dark Gothic style look of Shizuku Kuroe, putting a lot of thought into everything from the wig trimming to the outfit coordination. The short purple hair is paired with a black lace headpiece, and the red rose embellishments add a touch of dramatic flair. The multi-layered ruffles of the skirt hem and the silver-gray lining give the look more depth, and the combination of lace over-the-knee socks and platform Mary Jane shoes completely replicates the character's exquisite feel. For the photography session, we chose an indoor scene with soft light. The white carved screen and floral arrangements perfectly fit the character's elegant yet slightly mysterious temperament. We shot several sets using two different compositions: a sitting pose by the windowsill and another on the sofa, ultimately selecting this set for the official release. To present a better texture, post-processing avoided excessive skin smoothing, preserving the clothing texture and light-to-shadow transitions. Although the character Shizuku Kuroe doesn't get much screen time, her style is highly recognizable in the anime. Marin also put a lot of heart into wearing this outfit at the convention. During this shoot, we adjusted the position of the skirt hem several times to ensure the folds flowed naturally. The wig was also styled and fixed to avoid looking too flat against the scalp. The photographer and the makeup artist were both amazing, significantly raising the completion level of the entire look. Personally, my favorite is the second composition where I'm sitting on the windowsill; my gaze happens to interact with the camera, capturing the character's cool and detached feel perfectly. I hope this provides some reference for friends who like this cosplay. When shooting, you can also make good use of the geometric lines in the scene to enrich the composition structure.
