Putting on this classic Miku official uniform, the night view of Jiulong Road remains a location I visit every year to shoot.

The night hues blend the city lights into distinct layers, forming a very comfortable warm-and-cool contrast with the cyan-blue twin tails. Let's talk a bit about my insights on the shoot and the costume. The silver reflective fabric heavily tests lighting for a night portrait. This time, I intentionally used the grid neon lights of the buildings as the rim light for the background, beautifully outlining the translucent feel of the wig ends and adding a touch of the ethereal detachment unique to a virtual diva.

Those yellow symbol prints on the skirt hem hold a strong sense of detail under the dark night tones, and paired with the black over-the-knee boots and silver-gray top, the contrast between the materials enriches the visual elements in the frame. During this shoot, we experimented with different camera angles, such as using the railings as foreground props. Whether straddling it with an upturned hand or shooting from a low angle looking up, I hoped to perfectly present the character's energetic state in this Anime cosplay session.

For the eye makeup, I specially used bright eyeshadows to enhance the character's anime-like feel, which, paired with a sharp gaze under a wide aperture, maintains a clear and translucent visual effect even in complex neon lighting environments. Outdoor night shooting is always full of uncertainties—tourists, reflections, light angles, and so on—but it's precisely these challenges that make every shutter click incredibly meaningful. Maintaining respect and love for this image, and seriously treating every piece of gear and photo output, is my original intention for doing Cosplay photography. The moment the river breeze of Jiulong Road blew through my hair, I truly felt as if I had entered that world of electronic music.
